Funny totally a misspelling. I definitely had Ryan Braun in my head at that point. Definitely wanted to do a reference to the Scarecrow, but they needed something else to go with it.

I'm not getting attached to any of the identities because even with a few contributions it seems unlikely I'll have a high pick for this one. I have about 4 that I'm not a fan of, but other than that I'll be fairly happy with whoever I get.

Welcome to the AltFL Owner Draft Weekend!
Starting tomorrow, 24 owners will have the opportunity to select their team. As an AltFL Owner, you will get to look forward to hiring a coach, building a stadium (1 historic and 1 modern), draft your rookie class, construct your fantasy roster, and cheer them on during the Legacy Project. But in order to get to all of that excitement we need to first have the Owner Draft. As the video below will explain this is how it goes...
The Owner Draft order is determined by the sum of two separate point sources. 1.) Random Lottery - everyone gets the same chance of getting the ever valuable +24 points. The first person selected gets a +1 while the last person standing gets +24. 2.) Participation Points - if you were extremely active and successful during the design process, we wanted to give you some points for your efforts. If you nominated a team name, designed a winning logo or uniform you got points. I add those to point sources together and come up with the draft lottery. The most points go first the fewest go last.
The Draft Order for the Rookie Draft (which will begin next weekend) will be the exact opposite of this order. So if you are picking late - do not fret. Despite my point total I have max'd out my draft choice at #10 to avoid any bias.
Tomorrow morning, I will post a graphic similar to the one above that officially opens the draft. At that point the person with the first pick is on the clock. They are on the clock until they pick. Once the person ahead of you picks then you are on the clock. Please check back throughout the day so that the entire group isn't waiting for an entire day for your selection. If it gets to be a long time between picks I will reach out that owner and nudge them. If we do not hear from you then we will simply move to the next pick.
Once the draft is over, it is open season to hire your coach (first come first serve) and start designing various aspects of your teams. At the beginning of next week i will explain how the Rookie Draft is going to work. I will also be revealing some of the rules of the fantasy league itself so that you can prepare.

Seeing that none of my names were chosen and I did absolutely nothing for the logos and uniforms, I'm actually surprised that I'm not last. Not that 21st is that much better, but it's something I guess.

Wow. 3pointtally, how'd you handle the pressure of the first pick? I might need some advice, haha. Thanks everyone for voting for my work, that's the only reason I was able to get the first pick. I'll be excited to make it tomorrow. And thanks Gritty for hosting all this, you work surely hasn't gone unnoticed!
That said, I'd wanted to do a mock draft, but I don't want to give away who I'm going to pick quite yet, so I'll have to pass on one this time around. I'm excited to get started!

I was happy that lottery worked out for you this time around. If I remember correctly the AltHL Lottery was not kind to you.
