Big fan of the Kodiaks new logo, reminds me of Belmont university, it looks really good!
Online!
Kodiaks: Loving the new roaring bear! I think this is the best one you've done for them, and honestly I think they're now one of the best looking teams in the THL!
Electrics: One of the funnier stories that has come out of the THL, a prototype logo somehow making the final jersey! Kinda makes you wonder/hope that's happened in real life too! I doubt this logo lasts long before the enviable redesign, but I think there's a great logo in there that just needs tweaked, especially enjoy the nuke symbol in there! If nothing else, I hope that sticks around!

Thanks y'all. I really appreciate the positive feedback! Although the Standing Bear has an inordinate amount of love in my heart, it was definitely time for an upgrade for the Kodiaks.
I'm not sure if unapproved prototypes have ever made the final design, although I'd imagine it's happened at some point, the scenario was inspired by my own mistake. I'd been working on logo designs and had that one on the jersey while I was making some design changes for this season. I saved and exported the whole thing before I realized I'd left the logo on them. It seemed appropriate, especially considering I'd hit a brick wall on the right design for Kavalos just yet. Glad y'all enjoyed the story!

Up next we head to the UHA offseason where some big changes are occurring. I've taken to adding bullet points and a little bit of description if warranted. I underestimated the work in running two leagues simultaneously, so hopefully this helps!
1977 UHA OFFSEASON

The Killers might just be the best look in the UHA! The Marauders look is an upgrade but I personally think the Dosa City look isn't quite as good as the old one. They still look good but that chest stripe really set them apart and I think they looked plenty bright with it. Not particularly surprised by Trowburgh folding, and it seems most of the UHA has money troubles and it's probably teetering on the edge of folding itself.

I love how you've always got such unique color schemes up your sleeve, the Killers look great!

I will miss the Trowburgh Eagles, but it does make sense that they wouldn't survive, (actually it'd make a lot of sense realistically if most of these rival league teams didn't make it in the long run, as what usually happens to teams in secondary leagues).
Gotta say, the Killers have a solid design! Great color scheme too, you don't see a lot of teams utilizing orange, yellow, and green! The Marauders going to light blue is a welcome sight. Taking out the navy would basically give them the old Houston Oilers colors, which is a nice team to look like. Finally, the Cyclones definitely look a little brighter. I won't lie, I kinda miss the black bar on the teal jersey, but at least they match well now. Once again, great stuff!

Thanks! Some teams make downgrades which is what I wanted to do with Dosa City. If they survive, the chest stripe will definitely reappear.

It always hurts to kill off any of your babies. I personally loved that green and blue scheme.
But Trowburgh is such a volatile place, any team would have had trouble surviving there, let alone in a barely-afloat new league. The lure of the place is all the money available but it's a tough place to sustain.
I haven't fully decided which teams will make it through the ringer so to speak, but there will be some teams to fold for sure.

1977 UHA REGULAR SEASON
Pete Lentini and the Kings picked up right where they left off, blasting their way again to a league-leading 143 points and only 7 losses. Lentini again showed why he's suddenly the best player in the league, cashing in a second straight MVP trophy. However, just behind Bancana the new Killers in Kurohara lurked closely in contention behind stellar play from defenseman Joaquin Outlaw and the Russian winger Adam Bogdanov. The Killers scored more goals than the Kings but fell short in the points standings for a division title.
The Kings' new neighbors in Bancana had a middling season. The newly minted Solinza Marauders saw a nice season from F Evan Starling and young defenseman Curt Clemmons but goaltending and scoring depth were major issues. Finishing last in the West, the Wolves struggled to score much at all as forward Chris Wydra had a subpar year. The team is also strained financially and their status is unknown for continuing in Podangrad.
Over in the East, the new tenants in Alko squeaked ahead of a very mediocre pack to take the division in the last week. Of the three contending teams, the Wildcats had the worst differential at -32 but made up for it with clutch shooting by 39-year-old ageless wonder Gary Wiz and big moments from goalie Norman Dello. The statistically best team in the East finished third as the Swans faltered late in the season despite a phenomenal performance from forward Jerry Haake, allowed the Prestonburg Blazers to snatch up second place as goalie Christ Daniau and rookie defenseman Fred Duckett kept things close.
Things were not so lucky in Dosa City who saw their team and season implode nearly from the start. Finishing with just 6 wins and 40 losses only underscored a difficult and volatile situation in the locker room as it was made clear that Jerry Razzo was the real issue in DC. With locker room chemistry non-existent, fewer and fewer fans showed up for the games until the final week where the team played home games in front of a nearly empty arena. It's a bad look for the league and owner Lane Lujan who made significant strides in the offseason in an attempt to stabilize the team. His failure to jettison Razzo may be the downfall for the team though.

The Killers might just be my new favorite UHA team. In the good ol' THL i'll probably cheer for Kirlow
