Well then, looks like I need an Eau Claire sig. Or one with all three Wisconsin teams on it.

We have some great looks this offseason! Getting Eau Claire is awesome, it is probably my closest connection to this league other than Austin. My best friend's family is originally from Cadott, which is the smallest place I have ever been. Eau Claire is only a stone throw away! They have an unreal D3 college team. On to the list!
Crookston Kings - 100% upgrade. I liked their Old English "C", but it was getting a little tired. This overhaul took a stale design and made it modern! The crest is clean, reminding me of an older Sacramento Kings secondary but executed much better. Maybe I have an odd sense of humor, but did anyone else find it funny that the Kings did a reverse of what the NJ Devils did? They went from traditional stripes to exactly what the Devils used during their Red/Green days, idk why I actually laughed. I prefer the older Devils jerseys, if that helps tell you what I think about the change. Still one of my favorite color combos in the whole series. I'd love to see that crown on the shoulder. C+ -> A
Como Sea Lions - I am not feeling their primary logo. It is something about the sea lion that doesn't add anything to the ball. I get that Sparky was kind of needed in some capacity, but the giant black blob seems a tad forced. I do really enjoy the secondary, the simplicity is eye catching, and actually steals the show in the primary logo. The jerseys are very unique, and would pop on the ice with the colors used. I don't think the script is fitting for hockey, but it is interesting. Better than using the whole sea lion or just the ball. This team has a great base, but I think a couple tweaks would elevate it further. B-
Highland Park Flying Aces - This is great! I remember when this kind of inspiration was pushed prior with the Bakers. It wasn't the right time, but now I think it is an awesome nod. The logos are clean, I love the script, and the striping probably tops the league. The color names absolutely demand ownership over the already rare color combo. I think they ripped ownership of the pairing from Brookings, the Buffalo might have to find a new palette. A+
Princeton Brickmakers - The story to the name can make a team standout in this league, and Princeton does a stellar job of telling the league who they are. Classic logo set and uniforms, although I would switch those numbers. I think the P could stand alone on the chest, but it would probably just be a side step. B
Elk River Indians - I am all for teams with names appropriate for the time, so this does not bother me at all. What does bother me is the lacking primary logo. It feels unbalanced and over simplified. The ER logo is much more suitable for the main stage, and I like how you made it different from the logo the high school uses now. Their jerseys are great, I like the striping and the white shoulders for the darks. C
Eau Claire Rubber Kings - It is a mouthful, but I like the charm of this name. The logo is incredibly effective for how simple it is. We got an E we got a C, and we even got a top down view of a tire, can't complain. I like the jerseys, and I think adding gray does a lot for the brand. I will happily cheer for this team. A+
Shoreview Pike - The S/P combo hurt my head before I saw the P in it. I would maybe add the serif on the top for balance. I like the "PIKE" on the chest. The green jerseys remind me of Vermont's jersey, one of my favorite in college hockey. All around solid. C
Thank you, those are some high scores, I'm glad you liked them and as always I'll take these comments into consideration down the line!

1973/74 Regular Season - North
For the first time in 15 years the St. Cloud Bearcats are finally back on top of the Granite Hockey League. With the Cats winning the title, Brainerd's incredible 14 year championship streak has come to an end, the longest title streak in MAHL history. The Bearcats not only brought home the GHL crown, but they also won the Chunk of Granite over the Storm. The Lumberjacks may not have won the league, but they still were a very good team, finishing ranked 19th in the MAHL and keeping pace with St. Cloud throughout the season. Moving up into third are the Little Falls Pilots who had their best season since 1957, led by a young group on the rise. St. Cloud claimed the final playoff spot, finishing above .500 on the season. Fergus Falls took a step beck this year, the pieces just weren't clicking together and the Clones wound up on the outside looking in. Alec and Princeton both had sub par seasons, nothing horrible, but nothing too good either. Coming in last yet again are the Bulldogs.
It was a two horse race in the Iron Range as the Greyhounds and Moose pulled away from the pack and fought for the top spot in the league. Hibbing would claim the title by one game, but both teams were ranked in the top 10 at the end of the season. Eveleth remained in third, having another no nonsense, textbook season. The Redbirds are run like a machine, everything just works together and they find a way to win. It was tight in the middle of the pack with 3 or 4 teams vying for the final playoff spot. In the end it was the small town of Coleraine that was able to secure the 4 spot, punching their ticket to the playoffs for the first time. This left very good Virginia and Ely teams outside in fifth and sixth. Mountain Iron was also competing for that four seed for a lot of the season, but a couple key injuries caused them to drop below an improved Keewatin squad into eighth. Down at the bottom were the Miners and Flames who didn't really play bad, they just weren't quite as good as the rest of the league.
The back and forth continues with Thunder Bay reclaiming the LSHL title, alternating with the Lakers every year since 1968. Speaking of the Lakers, they had another good season, finishing ranked 15th. In third were le bleus who had a renaissance season, looking better and better as it progressed. They swept their rivalry trophies on their way to a solid third place finish. Grand Marais continues to find ways to win against teams above their weight class, sticking in fourth and returning to the playoffs. This left out the Hornets, ending their 8 year playoff streak. Following Duluth were the Beavers, Wolfpack, and Broncos.
Arguably the most dominant league in the MAHL was as competitive as they get. There really are no bad teams in the NLHL and anyone can beat anyone on a nightly basis. This led to the NLHL being the most tight in terms of standings. No teams were dramatically better or worse than the others so teams were all within a few games of one another. When the dust cleared it was Bemidji on top, earning their first league title. Both Warroad and Roseau made the playoffs as well as being ranked, but it was the defending champs who brought home the Victory Bell after Roseau held it the previous 5 years. Steinbach rounds out the playoff teams, finishing ahead of the Stars in third. The Barbarians held onto the Maple Leaf, beating Winnipeg 3 games to 1. Winnipeg, Kenora, International Falls, and Fort Frances all finished within 5 games of each other, with Baudette and Blackduck within 8.
After a disappointing season a year ago, the Pointers bounced back in a big way this season, finishing atop the league ad reclaiming the Giant Fork. Their rivals from across the river came in second, being ranked 17th in the MAHL as well. It was the other members of the "Big 4" that punched their ticket to the playoffs with Moorhead and Crookston missing yet again.
Let me know what you think, comments are appreciated!

Nice to see Le Bleus back in the dance. It's been a rough few years in Duluth.

The Kings update is maybe one of your best, a much more inspiring logo and set. Those colors make it one of the nicest identities in the MAHL!

1973/74 Regular Season - Twin Cities
The Braves from White Bear Lake made it back to back East Metro titles, really coming to their own in the back half of the season, winning 10 of their last 12 and finishing ranked 12th and with the Barrel. Little Canada built on their incredible run to the Super Series a year ago, blossoming into an emerging threat to potentially make another deep run. Coming in third are the Goldies who dropped to third despite having another very solid season. Sliding into the final playoff spot is Eau Claire. The Rubber Kings had a bit of a slow start, but a 9 game winning streak midway through the season propelled them to a playoff birth in their inaugural season. Fridley further improved this season, being int the middle of a fight for a playoff birth, as were the Volunteers who also didn't quite qualify despite having a winning record. Mounds View and New Brighton were just noncompetitive, not bad, just not competitive. Roseville took a big step back this season, absolutely falling apart midway through the season with inner turmoil causing a few players to quit, making the Rockets search frantically for replacements who were unsurprisingly not as good. Coming in last was Shoreview who struggles in their first season.
It was the usual customers at the top of the league with all 4 playoff teams from the year prior remaining in the top 4. This year it was Osseo who finished in first, being the only ranked team in the North Metro at 16. Elk River made a splash in their first season, making a push for the playoffs but coming up just short in 5th. Plymouth and Anoka were both decent teams, floating around .500 nearly all season. Blaine was inconsistent, never putting back to back wins together and finishing in second last. Coming in last were the Raiders who just did not have a good year in any category, getting bullied for most of the season.
The addition of two St. Paul teams drastically changed the TCHL. The Millers, Saints, and Mavericks were unaffected by the change and took advantage, finishing 1, 2, 3 in the league and sweeping their rivalry trophies. After the top three it was a bloodbath with the Sea Lions, V's, Vulcans, Waves, and Aces all passing and falling behind one another throughout the season. All but WSP were effected by the new teams and the result was all these teams are now at a pretty much even level, resulting in unpredictable, incredibly entertaining hockey. It was the newcomers from Como who clinched the four seed, beating the Aces and Raptors to end the season ahead of the rest. The Bakers and Raptors were far behind at the bottom of the table.
It was the Edina show in the West Metro this year with the Cake Eaters putting on a clinic, finishing an incredible 22-1-1 on the year, led by Ben Hankinson and Cole Nanne who each netted 30+, helping Edina earn the top ranking in the MAHL heading into the playoffs. Richfield bounced back after a sub par season last year, moving back into second. It was the Bloomington teams rounding out the top four, nudging out the Louies and Tigers. Eden Prairie took a step forward, surpassing the Muskies in 7th.
Let me know what you think, comments are appreciated!

Glad to see my Chargers back in the playoffs! The Twin Cities was a bloodbath once again, cool to see Como make it in their first year. Maybe Golden Valley can be the Little Canada of this year!
