Back on the CCSLC forums I was a follower of the Professional Hockey League made by a user whose username I can't remember. Fortunately, all the content from that thread is still available at the link below this paragraph. Sadly, he went on hiatus last fall.

Since I'm more of a basketball guy than a hockey guy, I decided that I would attempt to do a basketball league much in the same vein called the Continental Basketball League. You can view my feeble first attempt here. I very much want to do another attempt on this forum.

However, one major hurdle to this, aside from my lacking graphic design skills, is finding out how to generate the results for a season. For me it's not enough to just know where a team placed, I want to know the win-loss records for the teams. I want to do something similar to what the PHL fellow did (the lacking information about which can be found here) in which every team has a roster and the rating of the individual players determines how a team does in a season. I have no knowledge of statistics or anything like that so I have no idea how to go about that.

Any help on this from the more experienced people would be greatly appreciated.
