The playoffs have become second hat for Charlotte. They however are trying to make it to the finals. The Founders, who have been slowly rebuilding their team finally hit their stride. With new captain Mark Messier the Founders have the playoff pedigree needed to win it all.

The upstart Seawolves shocked many with a late season surge to take the division title. They continue to shock in the first round by blitzing the Dragons in a quick 5 game series.
