Since this is a sports-centered site I thought we could start out by introducing ourselves via our team allegiances and why we came to root for certain teams. I'll start.
Football: Pittsburgh Steelers
Baseball: (AL) Texas Rangers, and sometimes (NL) Pittsburgh Pirates
Basketball: Oklahoma City Thunder
Hockey: Pittsburgh Penguins
Soccer: (don't really care) but I like the Portland Timbers unis
Not a team sport, but I also love MMA.
I'm weird because I've never lived in Pittsburgh, my dad grew up there and passed down the Black & Gold to me. I remember watching my first Steelers game against the Raiders when I was 4. I didn't get into baseball until I moved to Texas so I became primarily a Rangers fan. (miserable days for us right now) I'm now a big baseball guy but my one true love will probably always be football. I briefly lived in Oklahoma when the Sonics moved so I became an OKC fan since Pittsburgh doesn't have one. I like the sport of hockey but rarely watch it. I'm a huge fan of MMA, pretty much every fighter except Conor McGregor and Jon Jones. I hate actually playing soccer so I don't follow it much, except for the World Cup sometimes. I also don't follow much collegiate sports outside of March Madness and the bowl games.
