The playoffs have become second hat for Charlotte. They however are trying to make it to the finals. The Founders, who have been slowly rebuilding their team finally hit their stride. With new captain Mark Messier the Founders have the playoff pedigree needed to win it all.

The Dragons bitterly welcomed rival Seattle to the postseason. The two-time West Division champions are looking to reverse recent history by going deep into the playoffs. The upstart Seawolves shocked many with a late season surge to take the division title. They continue to shock in the first round by blitzing the Dragons in a quick 5 game series.

Sorry everyone for not posting yesterday. The day just seems to get away from me. Here are the results of our two finals series.
The two series were not very close. The Halifax Kingfishers dominate Quebec en route to their second straight title. The Founders defense won the day due to the superb goaltending of Mike Richter.
