Special Events?

Every year, send 2 teams to Asia and 2 teams to Europe, and have them face off in 2 separate outdoor games. Oh, and have them wear awesome looking, unconventional  uniforms that can’t use any white.

That’s my suggestion. I call it “The AltHL Eurasia Series”.

Just an update on the logo submissions.  The only teams without challengers at this point are New York, Philly, Chicago, Toronto, San Francisco, and Winnipeg.

Well, technically, It’s just a logo. They won’t actually rename the team.
 

Later this afternoon the NHL will be suspending its season for the foreseeable future.  With that said, the AltHL will move ahead as scheduled.  I am excited to get to the next couple of stages of our process.  I will be sending out the logos in four polls (East, Central, West, Charlotte/Winnipeg) tomorrow morning.  It has been interesting seeing different people's takes on our team names. It is also interesting to see the commonalities on color schemes for certain cities.  You'll see what I mean tomorrow.  All of this means that you have until tonight to submit any last minute submissions.  

If you are in school or work I hope everyone is safe and healthy.  If you are to work from home remotely let's think of it as a blessing to work on the AltHL sweaters!  Tune in tomorrow morning!
