The Jays picked up their first win of the season last week in non-conference action, knocking off the Wichita A&M 29ers. We'll close out the first half of the season with a home game against rival Kentucky Tech in the first half of the Battle for the Boxcar. With the L&N Railroad connecting the cities, we want that boxcar back on our campus, rolling on down for everyone to see. We'll be in the light blue helmet, navy jersey, and light blue pants for this one, with wide receiver Tre Spivey seeing the spotlight for us. #NashTech

The BIG BLUE welcomes the Hallows Headless Horsemen to Society Field for their Week 6 matchup. PC looks to avenge their only loss on the season and take the top spot in the ECC. All blue look for this one. The QB by committee continues this week as Julian Sayin takes the helm.

Hawaii State is on a roll now, as the Hawks have rattled off five straight wins, including last week against Ohio A&M to sweep the Fightin' Muskrats on the season. Next on the schedule is the home game against Deschutes, who are sitting in second in the conference right now. This is the annual "after dark" game for us, so we've got a 7pm Hawaiian time kickoff, or 1am on the east coast, so we'll be in the all black uniforms. Featured for the Hawks is wide receiver Nick Marsh, who has come on strong of late to lead this potent Hawaii State offense's passing attack. #BeachBirds #TikiManIsEternal

Let's have a win streak! The Blue Jays have notched their third straight win to move to .500 on the season, but now we're hosting Lake Country Tech in non-conference action. We'll welcome the Raccoons to Nashville, and we'll be in the the light blue helmets, navy jerseys, and white pants for this one. Featured for this one is wide receiver Jalen Mickens, as the wide receiver has developed a connection with quarterback Braden Atkinson. #NashTech

The BIG BLUE hit the road for a non-conference game against the Threshers. The Commonwealth have won 5 in a row. Classic roads for this meeting. Trying to keep the ECC rivals at bay in the standing.

Following Week 7, the playoff picture has become more clear.
With their win over Deschutes and Southern Colorado's loss to Ohio A&M, Hawaii State has clinched the SuperWest Conference and will host the Avocado Bowl.
Johns Island can clinch the Southern V Conference and host the Whiskey Bowl with a win over Buffalo State on the road.
Riel and Pennsylvania Commonwealth can clinch each clinch a playoff spot with a win AND losses by three of Buffalo State, Deschutes, Minnesota A&M, Nashville Tech, and St. Laurent.
On the flip side, St. Brendan's and Wichita A&M are eliminated from the playoffs.
Four teams have their playoff hopes on the line. Kentucky Tech and Ohio A&M will be eliminated with a loss OR wins from two of Buffalo State, Deschutes, Minnesota A&M, Nashville Tech, and St. Laurent.
Meanwhile, Lake Country Tech and Twin Cities will be eliminated with a loss AND wins from two of Buffalo State, Deschutes, Minnesota A&M, Nashville Tech, and St. Laurent.

A win last week and a Southern Colorado loss gives Hawaii State the SuperWest title already. But there's no time to sit back and relax, we have three weeks left in the regular season, and we're now looking at seeding for the playoffs. We'll continue of conference slate this week, as we head to Wisconsin to take on Lake Country Tech. The Raccoons started strong, but have faded since, but that means they can score points when needed. We're in the all white for this one, and feature freshman receiver Carson Clark, who has been quite solid while building a connection with quarterback Brad Jackson. #BeachBirds #TikiManIsEternal

Nashville Tech's season has completely turned around. Following an 0-3 start, all in the conference, the Blue Jays have rattled off four straight wins and can see the playoffs. It would take a lot to break right to catch Johns Island for the Southern V title, but we can only control what we have in front of us going forward. We're going to be at home to take on the UF Orlando Aliens, who beat us in the first matchup, so we're looking for some payback. We'll be in the navy helmets, light blue jerseys, and navy pants and feature receiver Chris Durr, who has come on strong as of late. #NashTech

It's all about the ECC down the stretch for the 2026 season. At 6-1 the Big Blue are looking for a few more wins to get into the playoffs. The Wild Turkeys are going to wear their yellow tops for this game against their rivals from Canada. I also wanted to see what the team would look like with a slightly shade of blue.
The quarterback carousel continues for The Commonwealth after Julian Sayin went down with an injury. Moore, now Sayin. Next up mentality against St. Laurent.
