After a difficult opening-week loss in Kansas City, where we got completely outplayed by the Scarecrows, the Destroyers return home looking to break into the win column against the mighty Buffalo Bolts. QB Brock Purdy gave the offence plenty to build on in Week 1, throwing for 205 yards and three touchdowns while adding 29 yards on the ground, although his lone interception proved to be the blemish on an otherwise productive season debut. We’ll take the field for the home opener in our home combo: navy helmets, navy jerseys, and grey pants as we look to earn our first victory of 2026. #SDD-26

The Cyclones came up agonizingly short of getting revenge at the defending champions, and we now have to hit the road with little time to recuperate. Fortunately for us, our host also lost their first game of the year, as the Steelheads have a chance at home to bounce back from an ugly loss on the road against San Antonio. Our offense seemed to click once again, helped by a stellar day from WR Zay Flowers, who amassed 5 catches for 150 yards and a touchdown against the Emperors.

Week 2 - Toronto Beavers (0-1) at Philadelphia Brawlers (1-0)
The beavers drop their inaugural game and will look to find their first win on the road against a tough Philadelphia team. The Beavers will once again rely on strong defense to pick up the struggling offense. Toronto will be wearing the classic away jersey with white jersey and red pants.

Week 3 - Toronto Beavers (1-1) vs Miami Hammerheads (1-1)
Toronto secured their first win in franchise history last week with a big win over Philadelphia. The Beavers will look to start a win streak at home against Miami. Toronto has some injuries this week and will look for the defense and Budda Baker to step up again.

The Steelheads continue to slide, dropping a close game against the Cyclones. We're still looking to pick up our first win of the season, and we'll try to get it in St. Louis. Luckily for us, the Explorers come into the game with the worst offense and second-worst defense over the first two games, so we have a pretty good chance. Of course, we haven't looked that great either, so we can't exactly get cocky. For our third game, we're highlighting our third phase of the game, with our defense led by star LB Nick Bolton. The Mizzou product will be playing in familiar territory, and comes into the game hot after a 13-tackle performance against Chicago.

We held on against the Steelheads, though it did come at the expense of our star QB. We'll need to keep up the pace despite the massive loss against a 2-0 Carolina Reapers team back in the Windy City. The Reapers are out to stay atop a very competitive East Division, and they will look to remain competitive against us. Featured for this week is veteran TE Travis Kelce, who is looking like his old self against after a fairly down year, catching 9 passes for 101 yards and a touchdown to clinch the game against Seattle.
