The Angels nab another Holy War victory, moving us to 2-0 overall on the season. We're on the road again this weekend, making what we hope to be our first of two trips to Nashville. The Blue Jays have not had the most fun time acclimating to the Southern V, having already lost both of their conference matchups so far, but anything can happen on Saturday. That said, they'll have their hands full trying to cover WR Charlie Becker. Becker has been an end zone magnet thus far this season - all three of his receptions against the Navs went for TDs - and he'll have extra motivation playing in his hometown. #ForTheIsland #TheMatterIsSimplyOfGreaterImportance

It was a closer game than we would have wanted, but we pulled through in the end to start the year 2-0. We go back to conference play against new conference-mate Lake Country Tech, who has a less-than-convincing win over Ohio A&M last week. If they want to prove they can hang with the top of the conference, then we're no better team to go up against. Featured for us this week is sophomore WR Donovan Olugbode, who has emerged as one of our top wideouts in a wide-open receiving room, gaining 121 yards and a touchdown on 6 catches against Twin Cities.

The Angels kept rolling last week with a big win over Nashville Tech, moving to 3-0 on the season. This week, we're back at the Bo for another conference matchup against Kentucky Tech. The new-look Fleurs just picked up their first win of the year against Buffalo State and will look to keep up that momentum as they arrive in Charleston. JIU was led by a two-headed rushing attack against the Jays, with Nate Sheppard and Dylan Riley combining for 372 total yards and 5 TDs. With Sheppard having already appeared on a graphic this year, we'll turn the spotlight to Riley, who claimed 216 of those yards and 2 of the touchdowns. The junior gets the honor of showing off the Holy White uniforms this year. #ForTheIsland

Following a win against conference foes Ohio A&M by the slimmest of margins, we head on the road to take on the Southern Colorado Stegos.
