Week 1- Utah Raptors (0-0) vs. Los Angeles Sabercats (0-0)
Reporters left the suddenly assembled press conference that Stickman (I've long forgotten which Stickman owns what team by now, so we'll just pretend that this is just.... regular Stickman) had put together in shock. They could not believe what they had just heard.
Whether it was AltSPN reporter Johnny Armando, always grouchy AltsIllustrated contributor Dick Dingleberry, The Sporting Alts beat writer Jim Bob "Jimmy B" Whey, popular Youcube streamer Chip N. Dalin, or the various celebrities such as Lady Googoo, Mr. Least, or even the highly polarizing Altmerican President Ronald Rump, all couldn't believe their ears when Stickman utters these words...
"This is it."
What on AltEarth could he have meant? The rumors were tanking faster than the worst AltFL team. Was this his last season in the AltSports? Had he suddenly won the lottery and was moving to Scotland? Was he about to get arrested for real (no doubt related to the scandalous rumors involving trillionaire Felon Musk, goldfish, and suspicious Care Bears brand surgical gloves)?
Stickman didn't give any answers. He merely stated that he was on the hunt for all of the other Stickmen and their many, many odd side characters, and that more information would come. He then was escorted back into his mansion (which is situated on top of the Double-Double Arena, which itself is still located on top of Corporate Bank Arena- Did anyone remember when the Los Angeles Olympians found a way to get a new stadium on top of my stadium? Good stuff!), flanked by Football Stickman's prized pet wiener dogs, Ketchup and Mustard (who are now so old that they have to be carried on plush pillows by bodyguards everywhere they go... which is everywhere).
With that out of the way, The Sabercats, being the home team and in a difficult first week matchup against the Raptors, will be wearing their awesome black home uniforms... which I can't remember how to post... so just believe me!

The 2026 Portland Grizzlies will open their schedule against Miami at the Cavern Dome. Starting RB TreVeyon Henderson is injured so the new guy who didn't make it into the graphic, Dylan Sampson, will start instead. The rest of the guys should be good to go though. Let's do that football!

It's that time of year again for Cyclones football! After nearly winning it all last year, we return with most of that core intact as we attempt to make it back and win our first title in the modern era. That starts with a rubber match at home against the defending champion New York Emperors. We'll start in the traditional home set of red helmets, red jerseys, and tan pants, as third year QB Caleb Williams will see if he is able to improve upon a breakout sophomore campaign.

The 2026 AltFL season is getting underway, and the Seattle Steelheads are certainly poised to be one of the teams in the league this season. We've revamped our roster after a disappointing finish last season, so much so that our best returning player is our kicker, Brandon Aubrey. That's not too surprising, as Aubrey has consistently been one of the AltFL's best kickers since coming into the league, but it does mean the rest of our team has a lot to prove. Our first stop this season will be in San Antonio against an up-and-coming Phantoms team. We'll be in our standard white away jerseys to kick off the year.

A new AltFL season has arrived, and the San Diego Destroyers are ready to build on last year’s return to the playoffs. The 2026 campaign begins on the road against the Kansas City Scarecrows, with Jaxon Smith-Njigba leading the charge after establishing himself as San Diego’s best player last season. As the Destroyers look to take another step forward and strengthen their place among the league’s contenders, we’ll open the year in our habitual away kit: navy helmets, white jerseys, and navy pants. #SDD-26

(Regular) Stickman somehow figured out how to stun the reporters during his latest press conference once again. Surrounded by his twin Norwegian (not Swedish, as Stickman often mistakenly calls them) bodyguards, Simen and Asbjorn (which is unfortunately pronounced Ass-Bjorn), each carrying one of Football Stickman's prized wiener dogs (Ketchup and Mustard), Stickman announced today that he had put together his team of "Stickman Hunters", stating that it is of the utmost importance that each and every one of the Stickmen, along with their many accomplices', before Christmas 2026.
"There's no time to explain exactly why this date is what I settled on, but I assure you, every single Stickman, along with their many partners and buddies, MUST be captured before Christmas. The world will thank me later..." Stickman had said, "... So with that in mind, here is my team of Stickman Hunters, who will aid me in capturing the fiends!" he finished as he waved his arm towards the small collection of Stickman Hunters. Included were the following members...
Stickman himself
Chuckie Norton: A bearded guy with a deadpan expression on his face. Stickman believes he has a roundhouse kick that has to be seen to be believed, but most believe he picked he was selected because he resembled the late Charlie Morris, famed tv actor and kung fu expert.
Airplane Lee: Another karate "expert" that Stickman likely mistook for actor Jet Me. Runs a "karate" dojo inside of a mall.
Babu Kenda: A 7 foot tall failed AltBA prospect that never quite made it near the big time. Very nice guy, is a good cook.
A random stray dog (who Ketchup and Mustard despise and turn their noses up to)
Weird Chore: A mute man who throws his hat, shoe, and even underwear at "Jim Bond" looking fellows.
AI-leen: Pronounced like Eileen, this AI robot comes equipped with the "Net-O-Matic", which literally shoots a big net at her target. Hates humans and calls them meatbags. There has been... incidents involving her and now Anti-AI activists are calling for her immediate discontinued use.
"With this team, I hope to save the world from irreversable damage!" Stickman finished as he ran away, perhaps to begin his mission.
(Oh, btw, the Los Angeles Sabercats will be wearing their white uniforms against the New York Emperors, and are very much hoping to have a little more success this week, although to be fair, the Sabercats had played well last week, which was encouraging!)

A close fought win on the road against the Cyclones to start the season, and YOUR New York Emperors are 1-0 on their quest for back-to-back championships. Next on the schedule is Central Park Week with the Emperors. A practice in Central Park with autograph signings for the kids after has become an annual tradition, and we welcome the Sabercats to join in as well. We'll be in the yellow helmets, yellow jerseys, and white pants for this one with the feature on running back Jonathan Taylor, who had 121 all purpose yards and 2 touchdowns last week against the Cyclones. #AveImperatores

We didn't win but the good news is Tre Henderson is back so hopefully we can do better against Utah.
