PERU


Peru uses a custom script for their jerseys and I quite like it, so I've replicated it here. They stand out in a confederation where most members that use red pair it with blue instead of black. I've opted for a more traditional racing stripe inspired by their current set. Not putting an outline on the flag is, again, a feature of their current jerseys that I kept. As a general rule, I followed the country's existing method of displaying the flag, sometimes referring to their football teams when I couldn't find a good shot of how the baseball team did it.

Thanks! I agree, I think it's stronger look without the front numbers.

ukraine is really simple but it works. the tryzub on the cap is an obvious choice but it looks great. I think I'd want to see a little bit of yellow at home, even if just an outline on the wordmark and/or numbers, but really nothing to complain about with such a solid foundation

I'm right with you on the bulgaria red jersey; I think the green racing stripes make for a really nice look. I do feel like the color balance on these is just slightly off; maybe adding a green stripe on the socks would help, or maybe changing the brim of the cap to red would correct you the other way. also shoutout white pants on the road (not sure if that was intentional but I like it!)

I like your bolder version of the peru wordmark better than the one they use. I also prefer the version without front numbers since that script can totally survive on its own. pretty much my only complaint is that the flag is totally lost on the road jersey but that's not really your fault

the script you used for croatia is good but I really dig the version they use where the C forms the underline. is there a reason you went away from that? also obviously checkers are a must but I wanna see more. I'm not an expert on croatia but it really seems like the checkers are a huge part of their identity, at least in a sporting context, when compared to the flag. throw that ish on the pants, and maybe the socks too

SLOVENIA


Slovenia is in a tough spot design-wise, stuck between the more successful Slovakia and the currently-banned Russia, I wanted the nation to stand out amongst their red, white, and blue peers. Ironically, I found them donning a White Sox Batterman-style set that I quite enjoyed, but I decided one team with that set was enough. The other reference I found used an odd light green as a secondary color. I stuck with red but kept the block wordmark seen here. The main new design element is the coat of arms of Slovenia, placed on the jerseys like the Blue Jays' bird.

I haven't commented in awhile so I just hit a few that strike me. I like Ukraine update. I don't normally like sets that don't have congruent stripes but it seems to work.

In a vacuum I like the original wordmark style for Croatia but I actually really like your first version. Probably one of my favorites you've done in the series.

I liked the green and red hats for Bulgaria better. I think it better highlights a unique color scheme. Gray pants are a good addition.

Vietnam is nice. The Bahamas are nice too. Can't go wrong with teal pins. Wordmark is cool but I do agree with IDM, I wish the B was more closed.

Aruba is FUN! I love it. I do wish the shadow/stroke on the wordmark was just a tad heavier. It's super simple but Türkiye is really nice. Tiger striped Malaysia is super cool!
