The Wildcats earned the season sweep over the Seawolves and move to 11-2 on the season, staying one game ahead of the pack. A back and forth game in Milwaukee ended with the Wildcats eking out a win, thanks in large part to a couple of late goals by C Jack Eichel. Eichel finished the game with 4 goals and 2 assists for a +5, and the Cats needed all of them. We probably won't need all those goals in our next game, which comes back home in Edmonton against the Detroit Angels. With the Angels sitting right at the bottom of the standings and the Wildcats at the very top, it'll be a big upset if Detroit can pull off the win. #WhatTeam #RallyCats

The Angels kept it closer than expected for the first part of the game, but the Wildcats had a huge late-game surge to pull away with a dominant win. Our next matchup is out in Francophone territory, as we visit the Owls. Québec is in the midst of a tight battle for the last few playoff spots, so this might be a postseason preview, but for now, the Owls are focused on getting every win they can so they can make the playoffs. Knocking off the Wranglers on the road last week, the 48ers are now sitting only a game back on the Wildcats and the Loons for the top spot in the league. We'll play on the road again this time as we take on the Montreal Chevaliers.
