It's a brand new year in football! After a rough 2024-25 campaign, Atlético Barcelona are looking at a blank slate this year. We've thoroughly revamped our roster, but of course, you'll still see some familiar faces too. D Nathan Collins will lead us out of the tunnel for our first match, which is over in Bavaria against 1. VfV 1158 Munich. As we'll be on the road, we'll be in the iconic periwinkle clash kits as we look to start the season on the right foot. #KeepClimbing

Glory to the Old Club! Inter Istanbul takes the field once more after a season where we took the GEO Cup, now we look to make more headway in our question for more silverware. The "Special One" returns to lead the team. We start the year on the road heading to Mexico City take on the Quetzals of CF Federal. The Captain in the midfield, Sandro Tonali leads the charge. We'll be wearing our normal kits to start the year.[

It was an incredibly rough year for the Golden Lions after winning the GEO Cup and nearly making the championship a year prior. It's a new year however, so we're ready to get back to where we once were with a fairly all-new squad as we host Sydney for the first match of the new season. We do have a few returning faces, including striker Ollie Watkins, who led the team in scoring contributions last year with 16 goals and 8 assists.

It was an incredible debut for star F Hugo Ekitike, as he scored the first goal of the AltLiga season, then added an assist later in the game. Unfortunately, it still wasn't enough to earn any points against Munich. We welcome fans to Camp Vell for our first home fixture of the year, where we'll face off against Joburg City 94, who saw a similarly close loss in their own opening match against Sydney Harbour. The maroon primary jerseys will make their season debut for what should be a colorful matchup. #KeepClimbing

Starting off on the road, we knocked off FC Alfa Roma in Italy. Now we head home to Cairo as we welcome Olympique de Bastille to The Pyramid. We're going to be in the main kits for the first time this season for this, and are featuring our Kiwi forward, Chris Wood, who came away with a brace against the Thunderbolts. #ChosenOfTheSunGod

It was a narrow match against Sydney, but we were unable to capitalize in the final minutes and fell in our first game of the year. We'll hit the road for a short stay in Europe to take on Atletico, who similarly lost a close match to open what should be a turnaround year. It should be quite the match, and M Mohammed Kudus was our primary attacker last match, netting two assists and two shots on goal.
