With a disappointing loss in Tokyo, Atlético have officially lost their chance to return to the postseason. We are still in the running for the top spot in the free agency transfer window, though it's about as unlikely as making the playoffs was. In any case, we don't have much football left to play, and we do get to play it all at Camp Vell, which is nice. For our upcoming match against Inter Istanbul, we're highlighting D Jarrad Branthwaite, who was busy in the defensive end, with 6 clearances and 9 aerials won.

Atlético have one more match to play to finish out a disappointing season, and we host the defending champs from Munich. Several absences from our roster leave us with no choices for our starting XI. Our final graphic of the year is graced by M Ryan Gravenberch, who was solid against Instanbul with 2 tackles and 2 interceptions.

And here's the Final Table:
As such, your first round matchups are as follows:
Top-seeded Olympique de Bastille will host the lone South American team in the AltLiga, as eighth-seeded Club de Ragatas do Independencia will travel to Paris.
Seventh-seeded and defending champion 1. VfV 1158 Munich will travel from German to the land down under, as they head to Australia to take on second-seeded Sydney Harbour FC.
Cairo, Egypt plays host to a matchup, as sixth-seeded Amsterdam KVV leaves the Netherlands to play third-seeded Eye of the Sun FC in The Pyramid.
And finally, fourth-seeded Inter Istanbul will welcome AltLiga newcomers and fifth-seeded Bukchon Hanok Stripes to Turkey, in the only matchup between teams on the same continent... sort of.

With a second straight trip to the AltLiga playoffs, the Falcons are soaring high. We play our fourth playoff game this week and our fourth ever home playoff game, as Amsterdam KVV makes their way to Cairo. We swept them in the regular season, but we'll be looking to make sure not to stumble this one away. As we're at home, we'll be in the traditional vertical striped main kit, and are featuring midseason transfer Alexis Mac Allister, who helped carry the team while stars Bukayo Saka and Nicolas Jackson were injured. They're back now, and we're hoping that means a more potent attack in the playoffs. #TheGoldStandard
