All some great updates and new identities. Love that new derby trophy between Cloquet and the Voyageurs. We'll probably not be winning it anytime soon with how we've been playing though.
My only quibble is the buffalo for Brookings. I like the general idea of it but it needs more motion/aggression in the legs. Right now I feel like he's just tipping forward. Just a bit of adjustment to add a bit more charge into his stance and it'd be great.'
Edit: Just saw the Flying Dutchmen. That winged clog is fantastic! Weird uniforms but I like your eclectic stuff. Nice!

With every new offseason post, I see you manage to outdo the ones from the year before...
1. Lovely refreshes to Sioux Falls (I love that hog) and Cloquet (nice job sharpening the color scheme!)
2. Fairmont and Faribault look sharp as always (I know Faribault's gonna contend sooner rather than later)
3. The Southwest Hockey Association! I see plenty of promise for this league (just hope Mason City's cool with going on all these long trips...at least until whenever Sioux City gets a team.)
3a. Red and brown is a VERY underrated color scheme...I think the Buffs have what it takes to pull it off.
3b. Luverne's jerseys...let you know we're officially in the '70s now. All jokes aside, I see them being almost as strong out the gate as New Ulm has been!

1. Thanks, I'm glad you like the updates!
2. The battle for the rusty skate should actually be pretty competitive in the coming years if I were to guess. Both the Voyageurs and Broncos are on a bit of a decline at the moment, so it'll be interesting to see if either is able to turn it around soon.
3. Yeah I think the Buffalo could use a little work and will definitely be getting changed up or replaced down the line.
4. Thank you! I was really happy with how Luverne turned out, I've been wanting to have a team with a sash for a long time now and their logo worked perfectly for it so I went with it. I think the all orange is a lot to take in, but I oddly like it.6.7.0

1. Thank you, I'm really happy with their updates, I think they both improve on their old looks without being too drastic of a change.
2. Thanks, I also expect Faribault to become a contender at some point down the line.
3. Yeah I was a bit worried about the travel for Mason City, but it will get better in the coming years.
3a. Thank you, I've been wanting to include this color scheme for a while now, I tried basing it off of Brown University and St. Lawrence University.
3b. Haha, I wanted to get a little wild with a sash and though Luverne was a prime time to try it out.

Wow, what an offseason! I love the updates and new teams. The Flying Dutchmen in particular are spectacular, well done! My only minor nitpick is maybe removing the wordmark on the Broncos' jerseys and just having the horseshoe, but either way, fantastic stuff!

This is the good stuff. I'm gonna jump on the "Mason City is too far from the SHA" train, but with the best intentions. The new identities all look sharp, though when I first saw the Luverne logo, I was like, "Why are the feathers on that bird only half detailed?" until the text sorted things out.

These identities are so nice! I may be in the minority, but I kinda can’t wait to see what wildness the ‘80s and ‘90s to bring aesthetically.

Breaking News: The Mason City Musicians decided in late August that they will not be moving to the newly formed Southwest Hockey Association. They will instead remain a member of the Blue Earth Hockey League. With the Musicians dropping out, the 4 remaining SWHA teams were desperate to find a replacement. League officials reached out to a number of nearby towns and cities, and to their surprise one city answered the call and decided to put together a team last second.
Sioux City is one of the biggest cities in Iowa, with a population of over 85,000. It is one of the biggest cities in the region, along with Sioux Falls, so a natural rivalry is bound to form.
They will be called the "Shockers" referring to the farming industry in the area. Their logo is a roundel with wheat, a sickle, and the cities initials SC. Their colors are black and yellow.
Let me know what you think, comments are appreciated!

What a twist...and what a LOVELY look the Shockers got goin'! I got a feeling they're gonna contend right out the gate.
Of course, you know where to e-mail the logo
