YOUR New York Emperors sent the Destroyers back to SoCal with a loss as we pushed our record to 5-2. This week we'll be on the road, as we head to Louisville, Kentucky to take on the Stallions. They're in the thick of the playoff hunt, as they're only one game behind us and their division leading Scarecrows, and locked into a 4 way tie for the final two playoff spots. It's early, but every game matters. This week we're in our yellow helmets, white jerseys, and white pants. We've been relying on the defense for the last few weeks, and they responded, as our featured player this week is linebacker Ivan Pace Jr., who had 7 assisted tackles, 3 solo tackles, a sack, and a fumble recovery he took back for a touchdown last week. If I had to make a bold prediction for week 8, I would say Ivan is in line for 6 assisted tackles and 7 solo tackles. #GothamKnights

The Nightriders gave us more than we could handle, and we drop to 4-3 on the year. We're somehow still in the playoff hunt, as the rest of the contenders in the Central also lost their games last week. Even still, we return home to host the Scarecrows, where a win for us will mean we might be at the top of the Central (assuming New York takes care of business against Kentucky). For the eighth week of the season, we're featuring our own number 8 RB Josh Jacobs, who rushed for 76 yards and a TD as well as adding 16 receiving yards on the week. #BlownAway #WAFC

Utah gave us a scare late in the game, but we managed to stave off the comeback to move to 6-1 on the season. We'll look to keep the momentum up as we start off the second half of the season with a trip out to Boston. The Riders are sitting right on the playoff bubble at 4-3, but have been better than that record would indicate, so this'll definitely be a tough matchup. Leading the attack for Seattle is RB Tank Bigsby, who ran through the Raptors for 118 yards and found paydirt twice. #TipTheScales

The Galactics were able to get back in the win column last weekend with a win over San Diego. This week we return home to face off with the Cyclones. WR Khalil Shakir returns to our starting lineup looking to make an impact as the Galactics aim to get back above .500 on the season. As for our uniforms, we will be repping the colourful home look with purple tops and orange pants. #startthecountdown #ORLvsCHI2024 #preparefortakeoff

Following last week's win over the Stallions, and the Bolts loss, we've moved to just a game back on Buffalo for the top spot in the East Division. We'll need some help along the way with our loss to them earlier this season, but all we can really do is handle our business. That continues this week as YOUR New York Emperors head to the West Coast to take on the Sabercats. The Emps got Jonathan Taylor and Rhamondre Stevenson back from injury last week, and we lead the league in scoring. We'll be in the yellow helmets, white jerseys, and yellow pants for this one, as we highlight star quarterback Jalen Hurts. #GothamKnights

Another week, another loss...we’re now 0-8. It’s been a tough stretch, but we’re back on the road in Week 9, heading to Charlotte to face the Carolina Reapers, who are struggling too at 2-6. Somebody’s got to come out on top, and we’re looking to make sure it’s us this time. We’ll be in our navy helmets, white away jerseys, and navy pants as we fight for that elusive first win. Our featured player is our 2023 first-round rookie pick, wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who finished last week’s game with a nice 69 yards receiving #KingsintheWest

We put up a fight against Boston, but couldn't finish the job, and dropped our second game of the season. As we try to rebound, we've got another East Coast team coming up, although we get to head back home to face the Brawlers. We've played better at home, where we're a perfect 4-0, but Philly is coming in hot, having strung together a couple of strong performances over the last few weeks. To get the job done, we turn to TE Trey McBride, who hauled in 124 yards, catching 9/11 targets through the air. #TipTheScales

Another week down, and another win from YOUR New York Emperors as they went to Los Angeles and knocked off the Sabercats. This week we're back at home looking for our first division win of the season, as the Brawlers come to town for what we're calling "Ride the Subway Night". We're giving everyone who comes to this week's game a special Emperors themed commemorative Subway token (even though the subway doesn't use tokens any more). We'll be in the yellow helmets, yellow jerseys, and black pants for this one. Our featured player this week is star kicker Tyler Bass, who nailed an extra point and three field goals, including a 61 yarder as time expired. #GothamKnights

Because I missed last week here is what the post would have been:
Now back to our regularly scheduled programWith the win over the Scarecrows and the Stallions also losing against the Emperors, we now find ourselves leading the Central division. We won't be able to celebrate at home for long, as we hit the road to Orlando to take on the Galactics. They're on the outside of the playoff race at the moment, so they won't go down without a fight. Featured for this week is DL George Karlaftis, who finished the day with 4 total tackles and a sack. #BlownAway #WAFC

Last week's game came down to the wire, but the Brawlers just managed to eke out a win thanks to a game-saving tackle by DL Chris Jones. That said, it's now time to move on from Philly and set our sights on Charlotte, as we head back East to face Carolina. The Reapers are technically still alive in the playoff hunt, and though they'll need a lot to break their way, they'll be hungry to get a win this week. For the second time this year, we're pointing the spotlight toward the defense, specifically LB Daiyan Henley, who racked up 14 tackles and one pass deflection. #TipTheScales
