YOUR New York Emperors sent the Destroyers back to SoCal with a loss as we pushed our record to 5-2. This week we'll be on the road, as we head to Louisville, Kentucky to take on the Stallions. They're in the thick of the playoff hunt, as they're only one game behind us and their division leading Scarecrows, and locked into a 4 way tie for the final two playoff spots. It's early, but every game matters. This week we're in our yellow helmets, white jerseys, and white pants. We've been relying on the defense for the last few weeks, and they responded, as our featured player this week is linebacker Ivan Pace Jr., who had 7 assisted tackles, 3 solo tackles, a sack, and a fumble recovery he took back for a touchdown last week. If I had to make a bold prediction for week 8, I would say Ivan is in line for 6 assisted tackles and 7 solo tackles. #GothamKnights

The Nightriders gave us more than we could handle, and we drop to 4-3 on the year. We're somehow still in the playoff hunt, as the rest of the contenders in the Central also lost their games last week. Even still, we return home to host the Scarecrows, where a win for us will mean we might be at the top of the Central (assuming New York takes care of business against Kentucky). For the eighth week of the season, we're featuring our own number 8 RB Josh Jacobs, who rushed for 76 yards and a TD as well as adding 16 receiving yards on the week. #BlownAway #WAFC

Utah gave us a scare late in the game, but we managed to stave off the comeback to move to 6-1 on the season. We'll look to keep the momentum up as we start off the second half of the season with a trip out to Boston. The Riders are sitting right on the playoff bubble at 4-3, but have been better than that record would indicate, so this'll definitely be a tough matchup. Leading the attack for Seattle is RB Tank Bigsby, who ran through the Raptors for 118 yards and found paydirt twice. #TipTheScales
