Power Rankings after Week 3!

The 48ers head out on the road and pick up their first win of the season in a tough fought game with the Bighorns. The 48ers played their style of hockey, filled with hits and strong goalie play. We're still on the road this week as we head to Canada for the first time, has the Terriers host the 48ers. We're looking to keep the physical play going again and put a few in the net as well. We'll still be in the standard ivory set for this one. And we simply had to highlight defensemen Mattias Samuelsson after last week, where he had an assist, nine hits, and fifteen blocks, tying for the team lead in hits and easily outpacing the rest of the team in blocks. #MilwaukeesFinest

It took us three weeks, but the Cats finally found a lead we couldn't blow. We came out on top in a battle of winless expansion teams, and as punishment, we head back out on the road, where we're 0-2. Our fourth game comes against yet another 2-loss expansion team, as this time we're headed to the nation's capital to face off against the Guardians. Ottawa is looking to bounce back after a loss to Québec, so we're expecting a tough matchup. Luckily, we have Jeremy Swayman in net, who made 45 saves and picked up his first shutout of the year against Alaska.

Here we go, Week 3 is done, and Edgeworth hit the post. Well that makes sense, considering he's a goalie, he doesn't have the best shot. Thanks for playing!
For those that remain, PICK HERE! Polling closes Wednesday at midnight CST

in my defense, I shot from back in the opposite crease, so hitting the post is a minor miracle.

I'd say I'm not quite sure what happened, but I do know. We failed to score points. We had only one person in double digits for the week (Player Ass. Coach Moritz Seider) and then a few at 7ish, and then a bunch of not much. So we're looking to bounce back, start getting healthy, and knock of the Chevs on the road. The 48ers are going on the road in the ivory set, as we do, and are featuring defenseman Alexander Romanov. #MilwaukeesFinest

Talk about a 180. The Wildcats went from scoring the most points in the league during week 3 to only barely avoiding the bottom spot in week 4. The only reason we avoided that spot is because of star centre Jack Eichel, who poured it on with 3 goals and 2 assists, and also provided some defensive help with 5 blocks. We can't expect every player on our team to be at that level, but man, it'd be nice if some other guys were close. We'll need to be a whole lot better if we want to turn things around, and it starts as we wrap up the season series against Calgary.

Week 4 has come and gone, and everyone shot this week. Unfortunately, QCS' shot came up just a little short, and we sadly have to say goodbye to you this week. Thank you so much for playing!
For those that remain, PICK HERE! Form closes Wednesday at midnight.

Did we show signs of life? Yes. Did we still get our butts kicked? Also, yes. But it's a new week, and we're heading back to Milwaukee and will host the Racers at Manpower Arena. We're looking to make a climb out of the cellar of the American Conference, score some points, and get back to our winning ways. We're going to be in the alternate gold uniforms for this one, and our highlighting the top player in our loss to Montreal last week, Mark Scheifele! #MilwaukeesFinest
