Second week down, we get movement. Hopefully the movement continues! The Emperors moved up the most this week, climbing 6 spots. The Scarecrows, Brawlers and Sabercats all dropped 5 spots each with their losses. And a shoutout to new #1 spot holder Tennessee!

Ouch! Well last week didn't go too hot against the #2 ranked Bandits... the white meat babyface promo didn't exactly work out.
Ah well, now to move on and get the Sabercats ready for a bounce back win... against the #1 ranked Copperheads... hoo boy... well, nobody ever said this'd be easy. Wonder if bringing back that old #HuntingSeason from WAY back in the AltFL Legacy days will inspire a much better performance?
Let's do it! L.A. Sabercats! It's.... #HUNTINGSEASON! Now, go get you some meat noddles!

Alright, two weeks down and... wait a minute. No one missed this week? How is this possible? I was so sure that I had everything set up to where this could not happen....
Wait a minute... only eight balls actually got kicked? Where's the ninth? Oh. I found it. Steel never kicked so he couldn't possibly miss.
Well, thank you for playing Steel! For the eight that remain, get those picks in!
(Also huge thank you to IDM for making these graphics)

It was a tough battle, but the Raptors came out ahead by one score to bring both teams' records to 1-1 on the year. It's always tough to lose, but it's encouraging to get a performance like the one we got out of RB D'Andre Swift. After almost not featuring in the offense week 1, Swift exploded onto the scene with 175 rushing yards - a new career high - and a touchdown. Hopefully he can continue that momentum a few hundred miles east when we take on the spooky bois from Kansas City. We'll stick with the classic road look this week as we try to get back over .500.

The Destroyers suffered a devastating defeat in St. Louis, resulting in a 0-2 record after two weeks of play. However, there is no time to dwell on the loss as we prepare to face off against divisional rival Portland in our home stadium. Despite defeating the Grizzlies last year, San Diego must not underestimate their opponents. For this week's game, the Destroyers will be wearing alternate uniforms: the navy helmet, grey jerseys, and grey pants. This week's featured player is linebacker Jordan Hicks, who contributed significantly to the team's performance with 11 tackles in last week's game. He helped the team stay in the game until St. Louis took over and won.#BattleReady #SDvsPOR

The Emperors came up with a big win last week, as we played host to the Scarecrows and came up with that ever important first win. We're looking to go above .500 on the season in week three as we head out on the road for the first time this season as we head to Philadelphia. Both the Brawlers and Emperors are looking to not fall any farther back on the Bolts in the East in a crucial early season matchup. We're highlighting linebacker De'Vondre Campbell for this one, as #59 led the team in tackles last week. We'll be in the standard road look for this, featuring the gray helmet, the white jersey, and the gray pants. #ImperiumSineFine

The good news: we topped our scoring from the first week. The bad news: Buffalo scored more than us, dropping us to 0-2. Not the start that we wanted. We'll have a chance to get our first win over the Stallions on the road this week. This will be a match that will likely determine who will win the Central this year, so we'll learn from what we did wrong last week to get ourselves in the win column. LB Micah Parsons will lead the team onto the field after a monster showing last week, ending the week with 4 tackles, 2 sacks, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery to carry our defense to a decent showing. We'll storm into Louisville in our road combo of white-white-red-white. #StormWatch

This is awkward…. We were going to wear your classic road look. Not to be that guy but I think the home team gets first pick. Don’t worry, we can talk to the league about it.

The Galactics looked much better in our second game of the season and we are starting 2-0 (much like most of the South Division). However, once again tragedy has struck the ankles of Saquon Barkley, so we will be without a superstar RB. Luckily, we have some solid depth with RB Najee Harris, and breakout star RB James Cook. Cook has been cooking to start the year and had a big part in last week's win. Cook is getting the start this week, so we are featuring him in this week's graphic. We return home to put our 2-0 record on the line against the also 2-0 Birmingham Vulcans. We are going classic with our uniforms this week, breaking out the purple helmets for the first time and pairing them up with purple jersey and socks and some orange pants. At least we will look good as we take on the Vulcans in another South Division clash. #GoGalctics #startthecountdown #prepareforliftoff #ORLvsBIR2023 #SouthDivisionBattle
