So I have been thinking about everyone's suggestions regarding the scoring system. In order to accommodate everyone's ideas (for the most part) I making a new proposal. I like the category system but we can save that for the AltLB. I came to this proposal by reading how other people structure their leagues. This proposal helps boost the impact of defensemen and goalies.
If anyone has any major objections let me know. I think that this system strikes a good balance of what we were all thinking.
Skater Points
Goals - 3
Assists - 2
Plus/Minus - 1
Shots on Goal - 0.5
Blocks - 0.5
Hits - 0.5
Power Play Points - 0.5
Shorthanded Points - 0.5
Goalies -
Wins - 3
Goals Against - (-1)
Saves - 0.2
Shutouts - 2

That looks fine to me, but I really don't have anything to compare it to. If any of the other hockey people on here think it's good, then I'm all for it.

I think that works. Plus it’s a short season so it can be a trial run of sorts.

My only suggestion would be to make short handed points a full point since it's a more impressive stat but looks good either way.
