Commissioner Evans announced the four new markets at a press conference in the NAFA Building in Manhattan on June 1, 1963.

Los Angeles and Pittsburgh will be added in the 1964-65 season.
Dallas and Montreal will he added in the 1965-66 season.

IN THE NEWS

After yet another season of either not making the playoffs or losing in the first round (they're 0-8 all-time in the playoffs), the Philadelphia Americans have parted ways with longtime coach Boyd West. Taking his place will be former Boston offensive coordinator Franklin Mayes.

The Pittsburgh expansion group has announced plans to build a stadium on the banks of the Ohio River that will be ready for their first season.

There were no major trades this off season.

Really liking the Chiefs alt, looks great! 

So, I only just now realized that the Chiefs are supposed to be an orange team, lmao!   Anyway, I like the home and alternate jerseys.  Not super crazy about the black home pants, but to be fair, I tend to dislike black pants in football, (most teams don't look in them in my eyes).   So yeah, overall, nice job!

I wouldn't mind seeing Detroit bring some more gold into the jersey either, although they look fine as it is.  Interesting concept for this team with the shelve colors being different from the chest portion of the jersey.
