Re: AltFL Discussion Thread

I'll gladly take the Greatest Show on Turf. Hopefully that legacy will transfer over well for the Legacy Project. I wouldn't mind hanging a couple of championship banners in BBVA Stadium.

Edit: After having looked at how the Rams actually did during that period, I've only got like a three year period where we'll be good so we better make the best of those years.

Re: AltFL Discussion Thread

I'm most disappointed that we get no Peyton Manning. But I'm going to get Ryan Leaf...

However, my favorite player growing up was LaDanian Tomlinson, so I'm really happy to enjoy that in my team's history.

Re: AltFL Discussion Thread

Well, maybe the Cardinals will surpass my expectations. I will be waiting at the bottom until we get our lord and savior, Larry Fitzgerald.

Broncos..alright, not the worst get in the lottery. I'm keeping Elway, the hell away from the executive office.

Re: AltFL Discussion Thread

I’m not sure if I should feel proud or sad that I got the Dolphins.

Re: AltFL Discussion Thread

Going over a quick glance of the Jets record from the time, kinda forgot they had constant winning records from 2000-2010. 5 ten win or more seasons, 09 and 10 they had the best defense in the league. The 90s were rough but I think it won't be the worst.

Re: AltFL Discussion Thread

Ah yes, the Vikings. Always a great team (except when they weren't and were either horrible or mediocre) but never able to win big. All I hope for is that I get at least one title with them in their prime and not turn into the Legacy of Failure that they've become.

Re: AltFL Discussion Thread

The Giants should give me a few shots at some Alt-Bowls so I will gladly take it.

Re: AltFL Discussion Thread

I feel the AltFL North is going to be rough. With teams represented by Denver (2 Super Bowl wins), NY Giants (good early 90's, solid through the 2000's), Kansas City (usually fielding good teams), San Diego (1 Super Bowl appearance, good in the 2000's), Pittsburgh (4 Super Bowl appearances), and Green Bay (above average from mid-90's on, 3 Super Bowl appearances). That's a rough division.
