#2 Seattle Seawolves versus #3 Charlotte Racers
The Racers have been to the finals two consecutive times.  Once again we are one round away from the Bighorns-Racers final.  Unfortunately the Seawolves were too much for the young Racers team.  The Seawolves won three of the final four games including the longest game in league history.  This was our first postseason matchup between Crosby and Ovechkin.

#1 New York Gargoyles versus #4 Denver Bighorns
It is true that teams like Halifax and Charlotte have been building with elite young prospects but the Gargoyles have been building under the radar.  They were a force with a ton of goals on the way to routing the 'Horns.  Both the Wolves and Gargoyles will make their fourth finals appearance.  Both are looking to win their second title.

Toronto Terriers versus Halifax Kingfishers
The Terriers have been on a tear of late.  They meet the rising tide of Halifax.  After staring strong with two big offensive performances the Terriers drop four in a row to the eventual champion Kingfishers.

OMG WE DID IT! It only took nearly 20 seasons but the Cup returns to Gotham City! Woohoo!
