Re: History of the National Football Association - 1974-75 Season

Name: Reggie Mangold
Age: 45
Bio: Reggie's still at it trying to expand his hardware store empire out of the Midwest, and returns to the council for the love of the game
Favorite Team: Milwaukee Barbarians

1- New Orleans: They're the most football-ready city available, and should mesh well with the other southern teams. Suggestion: Blues
2- San Diego: They'll help with the other western teams by giving them another playmate out west. Suggestion: Friars
3-  Kansas City:  They're fairly ready for a NFA team, and should help with the other midwestern teams. Suggestion: Reapers
4- Portland
5- Tampa/St. Pete
6- Hartford
7- NYC
8- San Antonio

Not to be king bossy pants here, but we already have the Detroit Bombers so Bombers is taken.

Re: History of the National Football Association - 1974-75 Season

Name: Caleb Stevenson
Age: 50
A Short Bio: Founder and Owner of Stevenson's, a Yonkers, NY-based chain of supermarkets, with stores throughout the Northeastern United States.
Favorite Team: New York Cannons

1. New York: The Big Apple is certainly big enough for 2 NFA teams. So why not give the Cannons a crosstown rival? Possible team name would be the Dutchmen, after Dutch settlers who originally established what is now New York City in 1624 as "New Amsterdam".

2. San Diego: America's Finest City is definitely a worthy market for expansion. We could see this team establish a 3-way rivalry for Golden State supremacy with the Tigers and Whales. Possible team name would be Silverbacks, named for the silverback gorilla.

3. New Orleans: The Crescent City would surely give the NFA some added presence in the South. Don't be surprised if they bring back the Revelers name as a possible identity for the new team.

4. Portland
5. Kansas City
6. Hartford
7. Tampa-St. Petersburg
8. San Antonio

Re: History of the National Football Association - 1974-75 Season

Update, it’ll still be a little bit before the season gets posted. I’m in the middle of a move, plus the end of the school year so I’ve got my hands full.
I’m assuming everyone who wanted to put a vote in for the expansion council has already done it, but I’m going to put the deadline for any more votes at this Sunday. Any votes after Sunday won’t be counted.
As of right now the 4 teams getting in are (in order of the most votes) San Diego, New Orleans, Kansas City, and Portland.
