And we're now at the point that keepers simply must be discussed. To facilitate the 2025 AltHL Expansion Draft, the due date is September 20th, 2025 at 11:59pm Central. Players unkept will go to the expansion draft and I will be working with the owners of Detroit, New York, Saskatoon and Seattle to determine their order. As a reminder, those 4 teams will be drafting in the Dispersal Draft 1 through 4.

You must get your team within the $85 budget. If you fail to do so by the deadline, I will start with your most expensive players and keep adding until I hit $85 and send the rest to the expansion draft. With a 4 person expansion draft, I have no extra time in the deadline and can allow no grace time on the deadline (I try to be lenient often, but cannot and also make this all work with the time).

There was one more trade that I realize I failed to share: Ottawa receives Mikhail SergachevEdmonton receives Connor Clifton and a 2025-26 2nd round pick  

Welcome one and all to the 2025-26 AltHL Expansion Draft. The 4 teams selected players in a serpentine fashion, with Saskatoon at 1, Detroit at 2, New York at 3, and Seattle at 4. All got many of the players they ranked, but leaves some room for work. These teams MAY choose to drop players by emailing me prior to the day before the draft (that date will be finalized TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 30th AT 8pm CENTRAL TIME). If they drop a player, they'll be available to be drafted in the general draft and value will be off that pick.
