I wanted to start this thread as a go-to hub for writing resources. I'll begin by sharing many that I use for a variety of projects. I'll start with people name generators, as they're sort of my hobby.

People Name Generators

This one is one of my favorites for modern first and surnames. Works well for generating lots of names for rosters, etc.

Behind The Name is a fantastic site for names and given & surname naming origins. Especially good if you're looking for names from a specific origin or people group.

This site is a bit more complicated but works well for generating fictional place names, etc.

A variety of generators specifically aimed toward fictional worldbuilding.

It says American last names, but it's got lots of more unusual surnames. Especially good for hockey or more European names.

THIS is one of the best sites out there. TONS of generators for pretty much anything you could ever need. One of my favorites.

Seventh Sanctum has lots of generators, including some decent naming gens.

This site is more devoted to fantasy worldbuilding, but has some good name gens as well.
