The Game of the Month and top Star of the Month have me feeling good about Narwhal. The -2 goal difference has me worried though. I like that Jugo is #34 especially though, because of David Ortiz and Paul Pierce and their respective places in Boston sports history.

Here to support Narwhal HC! I'm impressed with the Fan Center spreadsheet, all of this looks great.

I missed out on adding some prospects for this draft, but if I add some now, will they be included in the next one?

Are they all implicated in cheating scandals? Papi, Clemens, and Sosa for alleged PEDs and then Cora for the Astros/Red Sox sign stealing scandals?

I almost wish none of my names ever made it to the final four, then I'd be less crushed every time they get beaten.

I do love how both Houston and Dallas have animal names with extra baseball-related definitions though. Very cool. I hope the Bats, Sidewinders, and Keystones all get some good owners so they're top of the standings.

Don't forget about the Blackbirds (New York)!

All three would be epic, ngl.

We need a spin-off AltBIRDS thread at this rate...

Welp, I spoke too soon. Still, Pythons is a great choice though. I vote that both PA teams are in the same league so we can have a Keystone vs. Python rivalry.

On another note, I really liked whoever's idea it was to suggest San Francisco Grays. I may have to steal that name for another fictional league.

The Deacons beat our the Robins (which was the more popular of the two in round 1) in the finals

Noooo, say it ain't so! I was rather proud of my Robins idea, but I ranked Deacons highly as well IIRC.

Still, I love this first group of names. So, here are some initial design ideas if anyone's interested:
- The Keystones and Blackbirds stand out the strongest to me. I could see the Keystones looking something like my Philly concept here. Meanwhile, I think some combination of the White Sox, Pirates, and a cool bird logo could make New York pop. Plus, as Burmy mentioned too, NYC has a black and yellow theme going.
- The Pros remind me of the Mets, so I was thinking a skyline logo could be cool or a speakeasy styled Brewers' Barrelman type thing.
- Detroit could have the Swingin' Deacon, who wields a crozier like a bat?
- And then for Boston, an old English styled B would work wonders.

Here's to hoping I'll get more than one name into the final fours this round, though may the best win. I'm impressed by all the ideas out there (and saving ideas for my own fictional OOTP play too)
