Ahh, that makes sense. I was curious about that league-owned team. Maybe I should've asked about becoming an owner then. I'll settle for knowing that the Caribou weren't drafted last! 
Yeah, the league owned team was originally for two reasons, one being 23 people expressed interest initially and two because Gritty was going to use it as a commissioner-team in the second fantasy league. But once our roll call came up an owner short, we decided it would be good to fill out those last two teams with the remainder of the folks who had recently expressed interest. We felt this was the most fair way to go about it. If we had been actually expanding the league instead of bringing in substitutions, we would have opened it back up to the public. Hopefully that helps clarify the situation.
In the future, be sure to PM Gritty if you have any interest or any questions. We try to be as fair and accommodating as possible. There will be hockey expansion soon, along with the Alt baseball league in the summer which will both be a lot of fun.
