Figured I should give an update on our situation.

In total, the petition received over 2,700 signatures, which blows my mind, all those who signed from the boards here, y’all are the real ones, and I appreciate you. First, the owners posted a long rebuttal on the window (nothing of note, it’s the Steven brothers’ way to talk big while not planning on giving results) We were able to get the city involved since they own the rink, and after discussing with the petition representatives, the city has got more questions that the brothers haven’t answered, and will not be discussing a renewal with them until they are answered, and if they aren’t answered to an acceptable deal, there’s already groups basically in line to receive the go ahead to begin their contract of operation on the rink.
