“XFL's Commanders Add RGIII”
March 20, 2022
San Antonio, TX - Former Washington Redskin, Baylor Bears and Heisman Trophy winner Robert Griffin III has just signed with the San Antonio Commanders, who have been playing the majority of the season without starting Quarterback JT Barrett and who have been struggling with Kyle Lauletta under center. Robert Griffin III has served as Lamar Jackson's backup with the Baltimore Ravens since 2018. He was hoping to land a starting gig this last summer in free agency but wasn't able to do it in the National Football League.
“Outlaws Overcome Slow Start to Top Fleet”
March 22, 2022
Las Vegas, NV - Things couldn't have gotten off much better for the Fleet on Saturday afternoon as Defensive End Karter Schult sacked Brett Hundley in the endzone for the safety and the 2-0 lead. The Fleet then had a solid first drive of their own that resulted in a Nick Novak field goal. Next, Hundley threw a jump ball that was brought down by Fleet DB Trumaine Johnson which led to another Novak field goal and an 8-0 lead. However, the Outlaws were able to muster two Justin Medlock field goals in the 2nd quarter. After trailing at the half, 8-6, the Outlaws defense tightened the clamps and Medlock added two more field goals in the third quarter making the score 12-8 Outlaws. Finally, a team was able to finish a drive in the endzone in the 4th quarter as Hundley connected with both of his Tight Ends, Nick Truesdell and EJ Bibbs, to finish off the Fleet 26-8 in front of their biggest crowd to date, 36,197.

“San Diego Fleet Bought By IFL's Choi”
March 25, 2022
San Diego, CA - Roy Choi and Choi Football & Entertainment LLC have purchased the San Diego Fleet. Choi was the former owner of the San Diego Strike Force and Cedar Rapids River Kings of the Indoor Football League prior to the league folding in late 2020.
Choi announced that the Fleet would be staying in San Diego long term but that he was also granted an XFL expansion team for the 2023 season.

Amazing what adding Andrew Luck and Brett Hundley to their roster has done for their results.
Also, the league is setup in 4 five team divisions within 2 conferences. I should’ve pointed that out prior to the season but I’ll make it clear at the half way point.

The XFL will be having another 4 team expansion for 2023, and three of those four cities have already been chosen. However, the three teams already chose don’t currently sit on your suggested list haha

“Offenses Struggle to Find Footing in Washington Rain Storm”
March 29, 2022
Seattle, WA - Paxton Lynch is dearly missing Antonio Callaway so far this season. The Dragons just haven't been able to click on offense since their leading receiver departed for the NFL. The first half of the game saw the Predators' Mark Walton score on an 18 yard touchdown run in the first quarter and a Dragon Paxton Lynch finding a wide open Deon Cain for 17 yard score in the 2nd but not much else. The 2nd half didn't improve much. The Predators got three field goals from Andrew Franks, including the game winner while the Dragons settled for just two Elliott Fry field goals. The rain storm didn't help either team, but I don't think this was the game the 67,647 fans in attendance were hoping for.

No idea why, because I certainly don't get that feeling. They're feasting on some bad competition right now and are barely scraping by. However, we will see how things unfold down the stretch.

“Guardians Run All Over Outlaws”
April 5, 2022
Las Vegas, NV - Ty Montgomery dominated the first quarter for the New York Guardians as he ran for a 1 yard touchdown and caught a 6 yard touchdown pass in the quarter to have the Guardians up 13-0. The 2nd quarter saw both teams exchange two field goal drives each to bring the game to a 19-6 score at halftime. Brett Hundley took the first drive of the second half down the field and finished it with finding Cam Phillips from 19 yards out to inch the Outlaws closer, but Ty Montgomery's big night continued as he took a 36 yard toss to the house. Kapri Bibbs then answered with a 44 yard touchdown scamper himself. After a big defensive stop, the Outlaws' Justin Medlock hit his third field goal of the night to bring the score to 26-23 after three. New York's Cairo Santos then hit a 39 yard field goal to set the score at 29-23. Hundley drove the length of the field before finding Sammie Coates for a 5 yard score to even the score 29-29, but after the missed extra point, New York once again seized the momentum and finished their own drive with an 11 yard touchdown plunge from Andre Williams to give us the 35-29 final. Despite the loss, the fans once again showed up in full force for the Outlaws with an attendance of 42,541.
