The Sedins and Zetterberg tie in my opinion. The power in those three players makes this draft insane.
If you are interested go back and check out all of the moves the Canucks had to do in order to trade up to get BOTH Sedins. They knew that wanted to be a package deal and the Canucks made it happen. Additionally the Islanders, in our case the Ghosts did a lot of maneuvering to get three of the top ten picks, they missed on all of them.

Tim Connolly was alright, just injured a ton, but the other two there are misses. As for my first rounder, who is that?

The 2010 Season:
The year was 2010 and a lot of things were happening. Tiger Woods crashed down off of his pedestal and the tablet takes off as the year's hot new gadget. The BP Oil Spill ravaged the Gulf of Mexico and an earthquake devastated Haiti, China, Pakistan and Chile. The miners were rescued in Chile and vuvuzelas blistered our ear drums at the World Cup. Biebermania was in full swing and the Jersey Shore was in its prime, Angry Birds, Inception twisted everyone's mind, Wikileaks too. The top song was Tik Tok by Ke$ha, Marvel had just made Iron Man 2, Gordon Hayward misses a half court buzzer beater shot as Butler loses the title to Duke. Toy Story 3, Twilight, Harry Potter Deathly Hollows Pt. 1 were among the highest grossing movies of the year. But most importantly the AltHL enters its eleventh season.
Season Notes:
In 2010 both AltHL leagues adopted the 'overtime loss'. This was adopted to ensure that teams wouldn't play defensively in overtime in order to secure the point for a tie. This way you get a point for losing in overtime but there is an extra point on the table for the winning team.
The balance of power shifted from the East Division to the West Division in the AHA. It was the first time in league history that the playoffs did not include Charlotte, Philly or New York. The CHL is loaded. The Chevs and Owls missed the playoffs with 96 and 94 points respectively. The Rovers brought home the Gritty Cup as the league's best team.
Canadian Shield XI Playoffs
#1 Toronto Terriers versus #4 Calgary Wranglers
#2 Vancouver Glaciers versus #3 Minnesota Loons
Adams Cup Playoffs 2010
#1 Boston Rovers versus #4 Portland Sawblades
#2 Seattle Seawolves versus #3 Los Angeles Titans

Holy...….My boys did good. Two of my teams hit 100 pts, nice. Hoping my boys can keep it up! Lets go on a run, Darknes and ThisIsFine!
We're really getting close the era I know.

League hates Portland, confirmed. One year the take away points, another year they don’t even want to give us that special blue color when we make it in. It’s ok, we understand that we just aren’t likable.

Haha I swear I am not doing it on purpose. Perhaps that makes it worse. Maybe Portland is the Toby Flenderson of the AltHL.
