Those Copperhead black helmets are so, so good.

Man, if the South designs started out with a bang, then I can't wait to see what the next divisions will bring! My only problem (and a minor one at that) is that 3 out of the 6 teams are primarily black (or gray in the case of B'ham). It's not that much of an issue to me though, since they all have unique designs that make them stand out from one another.

I agree. I thought about that as well. The problem is I am a sucker for a well executed black uniform. While at the same time am not a fan of BFBS. With that said, bright colored uniforms like Miami are needed and appreciated as well. I like that Birmingham is slightly different. We'll have a few red teams so I am not worried that Bham took that route. At some point during the AltHL process I posted the NHL uniform breakdown versus the AltHL. For now, check out the NFL's breakdown. To come to these numbers I simply counted a team based off of their primary home uniform color. So a team like the Bengals would be under 'black' even though they probably could be 'black' or 'orange'. The Eagles and Jets on the other hand would definitely be green. Anyway this is just for fun but something interesting to enjoy.
EDIT: As I write this I recognize that I went against my own rules and put the Browns accidently in Orange and not brown...but you still get the idea.

The AltFL NORTH Uniform Voting is officially open!
The AltFL WEST will be due next Saturday. I'll be away from the computer for most of today but I'll post the uniform sets to the board once I get a chance.

Is there a chance that any Canadian teams get the history of CFL teams if you can adapt the rosters to math the NFL? Not necessarily their city, mind you, but a Canadian team at least.

Hmmm, that may be difficult because the NFL teams play a different number of games than the CFL (which I love btw). I am actually working on the AltFL Legacy Project right now so we can hit the ground running after the Owner Draft. I am considering possibly using the CFL playoffs to serve as ours similar to the way that the AHL serves as ours. Hopefully something like that may scratch the CFL itch.

The AltFL NORTH begins in Boston...home of the Nightriders! My design was the loser in this case and I couldn't be happier. The winning design was Dr. Pepper's. This particular design won with 77.8% of the vote! We travel to the City of Brotherly Love tomorrow to meet up with the Brawlers.

Boston's looking wonderful in my opinion. I would love to hear what Darknes, as the "Boston Guy" thinks.
