Only Crosby can save the Racers now! The curse of the Ram lives on

It’s not you, it’s the depression of not winning anything that’s earning my ire.

Just, I’m no longer surprised by this crap. I’m a soulless husk at this point.

Re: AltHL Legacy

So, Boston. I’m sorry if I’ll have to *rain* on your parade.

Re: AltHL Legacy

The Canadian Shield IX Finals

Montreal Chevaliers versus Minnesota Loons
Two loaded rosters.  On one side the offensive juggernaut of Montreal led by Sakic and Forsberg.  On the other the suffocating defensive style of the Minnesota Loons led by Stevens, Neidermayer, and Brodeur.  Ironically it was neither that won the series.  Instead it was the offensive explosion of the Loonatics.  Both teams are destined to meet again in the playoffs as both are built to last.  Although Chevs fans must think of what 'could have been' with three straight finals appearances.

The 2008 Adams Cup Finals

Seattle Seawolves versus Boston Rovers
The Cinderella Seawolves versus the Rovers who are looking to claim their 3 Adams Cup.  The Rovers jumped out to a commanding 2-0 lead after two big wins at home.  The Seawolves respond with three straight wins with 17 combined pushing the Rovers to the brink.  With the Cup in the building, the Seawolves were silenced at home by a heroic effort by Boston.  Then in Boston for Game 7, the arena was at a fever pitch.  The Big Green blitzed the Wolves who had no chance.  The Rovers win Game 7 and rewrite last year's misery of losing Game 7 to Philadelphia.

A quick shoutout to Ed Belfour who has now won the Best Goalie Award in two different leagues.  I have to look through the history but he may be the most decorated goalie ever.

Re: AltHL Legacy

I'm confused. For the trophies it says 2008 but in the write-ups you have it as 2009

Typo it was the ninth Canadian Shield but the year 2008.  Must have mixed the numbers up.
