Any other already existing logos that any of you think would go well with a team from Denver?

How about the Denver Dusters?  (The city and area gets plenty of dust devil whirlwinds annually)

Just replace Amarillo with Denver here:

“Kaepernick, Bortles, Winston and Landry Jones Set Up a Great Final Four ”

May 18, 2021

Las Vegas, NV - Playing on a neutral field since both teams had the same record, the stadium was packed but it didn't sound like it.  Kaepernick torched the Roughneck secondary in the first quarter with a 70 yard and 50 yard touchdown passes to LaQuon Treadwell.  After exchanging a few Field Goals, and having a score of 16-6, Brock Osweiler finally found some rhythm in the late second quarter which resulted in a Justice Liggins 35 yard Touchdown reception.  The third quarter saw a lot of stout defense before Alfred Blue finally broke through with a 1 yard scamper to put the Roughnecks on top for the first time 20-16.  Kenneth Farrow didn't take long to answer however and found the endzone at the end of a 52 yard burst.  Osweiler took Houston down to the four yardline before having a ball bounce off the hands of Jaelen Strong and into the waiting arms of Ahmad Dixon.  Kaepernick then orchestrated the perfect drive that took the last 6:23 off the clock and finished with another Farrow touchdown plunge to give the Xtreme the 30-20 win.

That I really like.  Thanks for the input.  I can see this team joining the league.

They almost did.  Tebow just isn't enough of a factor in the air. It will be interesting to see how the old ball coach, Spurrier, moves forward this offseason.  Tebow doesn't fit his style.

“Landry Jones vs Jameis Winston, Big Game Bob vs Tony Dungy, Should Be a Fun Title Game”

May 25, 2021

Los Angeles, CA - Landry Jones has been hot the last few weeks and it continued today as he shredded the Los Angeles' secondary.  That secondary was no match for all the weapons that Bob Stoops has to work with and it really showed in the first half as the Renegades went to halftime up 24-7.  They added a Field Goal at the beginning of the third before the Xtreme finally found some momentum which came on the ground.  Kenneth Farrow and David Cobb tried to get LA back in the game but they just ran out of time.  Farrow scored his second touchdown on the day in the third to make the game 27-14 and then David Cobb found his way into the end zone as well after the Renegades added another Field Goal to make the score 30-21.  After another Renegades Field Goal from Austin MacGinnis, the Xtreme had to score fast but it wasn't meant to be after Renegades' LB Tim Williams sacked Kaepernick on 4th down effectively ending the ball game.

-- (9-6)Renegades 33 - 21 Xtreme(12-3)
(DAL): Landry Jones - 379 yards, 2 TDs, 1 INT, Cameron Artis-Payne - 74 yards, 1 TD, Davaris Daniels - 110 yards, L'Damien Washington - 98 yards, 1 TD, Gavin Escobar - 93 yards, Donald Parham - 32 yards, 1 TD
(LA): Colin Kaepernick - 170 yards, Kenneth Farrow - 100 yards, 2 TDs, David Cobb - 91 yards, 1 TD, LaQuon Treadwell - 53 yards, Rashad Greene - 43 yards

Tampa Bay, FL - After a scoreless first quarter, the second quarter exploded with action.  Tampa Bay opened with a Field Goal, Bortles then responded with a 24 yard Touchdown pass to Russell Shepard, but it didn't take long for the Storm to add back to back Devonta Freeman 1 yard Touchdown runs to put Tampa up 17-7.  Bortles then hit Jordan Matthews on a 72 yard Touchdown pass, but the scoring in the 2nd was finished just yet.  Winston drove the length of the field to add a Field Goal from Blair Walsh for the 20-14 halftime lead.  The teams exchanged field goals in the third.  The fourth opened up with Winston finding Chester Rogers for a 7 yard score.  After a Bortles interception to Storm safety Eric Reid, the Storm sealed the win with yet another Freeman touchdown run, this time from three yards out to make the score 36-17.  Bortles would add another touchdown pass to Shepard but the game was over.

-- (12-3)Brigade 24 - 36 Storm(12-3)
(BALT): Blake Bortles - 343 yards, 3 TDs, 1 INT, Devontae Booker - 65 yards, Buck Allen - 48 yards, Jordan Matthews - 115 yards, 1 TD, Derel Walker - 58 yards, Russell Shepard - 55 yards, 2 TDs, James Quick - 52 yards
(TB): Jameis Winston - 324 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT, Devonta Freeman - 154 yards, 3 TDs, Corey Coleman - 93 yards, Chester Rogers - 83 yards, 1 TD, Justin Hardy - 47 yards

Re: XFL 2020

“An Early Landry Jones Injury Made the Final Fail to Live Up to the Hype”

June 1, 2021

Las Vegas, NV - Jameis Winston took the Storm down the field and hit Corey Coleman for a 6 yard Touchdown pass on the first possession of the game, and then Landry Jones looked to be doing the same of what looked to be a shoot out, but it wasn't meant to be.  After getting his team down to the 18 yard line, Vontaze Burfict hit Landry Jones right on the knee that ended the signal caller's day.  Dalton Sturm entered the game and threw his first pass right into the arms of Storm Mark Barron and that would prove to be foreshadowing for the rest of the afternoon as Sturm couldn't get much of anything to go right for the team from Dallas.  After being up 27-3 at halftime, Storm Head Coach Tony Dungy pulled off the dogs and just ran out the clock in the second half to show mercy.  The Tampa Bay Storm were crowned the 2021 XFL Champions!

-- (10-6)Renegades 6 - 30 Storm(13-3)
(DAL): Landry Jones - 34 yards, Dalton Sturm - 89 yards, 1 INT, Cameron Artis-Payne - 56 yards, Davaris Daniels - 34 yards, L'Damien Washington - 31 yards
(TB): Jameis Winston - 243 yards, 2 TDs, 2 INTs, Devonta Freeman - 50 yards, Corey Coleman - 110 yards, 1 TD, Chester Rogers - 64 yards, Percy Harvin - 24 yards, 1 TD

Re: XFL 2020

“Back to Canada, the XFL Goes. This Time the League Lands in Montreal.”

June 10, 2021

Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - Sid Spiegel and Gary Stern along with S and S Sportsco LLC, the former ownership group of the CFL's Montreal Alouettes, announced that they were granted a 2022 XFL expansion franchise and that the team would be known as the Montreal Monarchs!  Spiegel then introduced former University of Washington Huskies Head Coach, Chris Peterson, as the Head Coach.  Peterson then announced former Montreal Alouettes Head Coach and General Manager, Khari Jones and Danny Maciocia, as the Offensive Coordinator and General Manager for the Monarchs, and Paul Pasqualoni as the Defensive Coordinator.  The Monarchs' would be playing their home games at Percival Molson Memorial Stadium.

Stern announced that a few of the 2020 Montreal Alouettes would also be suiting up for the Monarchs in 2022, such as QB Vernon Adams, RBs James Wilder Jr., and Tyrell Sutton, WRs Quan Bray, BJ Cunningham, Naaman Roosevelt and Jake Wieneke, LB Henoc Muamba, DBs Taylor Loffler, Tommie Campbell, Ciante Evans and Greg Reid. Stern stated, "We want to be the official Canada's team of the XFL.  We plan on pursuing the best players available from the CFL and what Canada has to offer.  It will be a priority for this franchise and we're going to start off by announcing the signing of three time CFL All Star QB Jeremiah Masoli."

“Monarchs Challenges the NFL”

June 17, 2021

Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - Sid Spiegel and Gary Stern again hold a press conference with big grins on their faces.  "We're about to introduce you all to our new starting Running Back, Chuba Hubbard!"

Chuba Hubbard was born in Alberta, Canada and played his college football at Oklahoma State University where he was a two time All-American, three time All-Conference and two time BIG12 conference Offensive Player of the Year.  After sitting out his redshirt Junior year due to a conflict with Oklahoma State's Head Coach Mike Gundy, he entered the 2021 NFL Draft where he was projected to be a late first or early second round selection, but fell to the 4th round to the Tennessee Titans.  He never signed a contract with the Titans.

His Oklahoma State teammates, OL Teven Jenkins and LB Amen Ogbongbemiga, also sat out the 2020 season due to racial conflicts within the Cowboy program.  Both players will also be joining Chuba in Montreal with the Monarchs.  Neither player was drafted in the 2021 NFL Draft.

Hubbard stated, "I'm excited to be coming back home to Canada, and being a Montreal Monarch.  I'm very grateful for the XFL and Mr. Spiegel and Mr. Stern for giving me this opportunity.  Can't wait to get the opportunity to further prove to scouts that I can play at the professional level and that I am worth a 1st round selection."

S and S Sportsco LLC announced that they signed Chuba Hubbard to a 1 year $2M deal with the understanding that Hubbard would be entering the 2022 NFL Draft.
