The Outlaws will be moving even further south than that. What would you call the team from Denver?

Denver Gold or Denver Stampede

“Tebow Magic Has Orlando on the Doorsteps of the Playoffs!”

May 4, 2021

Orlando, FL - A severe rainstorm landed down in Orlando on Saturday afternoon and there may be no two teams better equipped for such weather conditions but Tim Tebow and the Orlando Predators would win the day.  The leg of Andrew Franks had the Predators up 9-0 at halftime.  Mike Glennon took the first drive of the 2nd half down the field and found Kelvin Benjamin for a thirteen yard score that cut the game to 9-7 but that would be the last of the Iron offense.  The Predators controlled the clock and sealed the game with a early 4th quarter rushing score from four yards out by backup tailback De'Veon Smith.  Tim Tebow has the Predators on a six game winning streak that should make next week very interesting.

And there lies the problem, I can't and have no interest in creating my own logos.  So Denver seems really limited to me.

However, I do have a question to those following this league; the Las Vegas Outlaws are relocating to Mexico City this offseason.  Should they go by the Vipers..

or the Dorados..?

You could move the Calgary Stampeders to Denver and you have the Denver Stampede.  As for Mexico City. I go with the Vipers

Re: XFL 2020

My vote is for the Mexico City Dorados...the nickname should be Spanish and expressive of national pride.

As for Denver's name, I'd go with another old Arena name; the Colorado Crush.

“The 2021 Playoff Field is Set!”

May 11, 2021

Baltimore, MD - After only trading Field Goals in the first quarter, that action really picked up in the second when Soul QB DeShone Kizer found Braxton Miller down the right sideline for a 48 scoring strike that gave the Soul the 10-3 lead.  However, Bortles and the Brigade would respond with back to back touchdown drives to make it a 17-10 game at the half.  To start the third quarter, Bortles again found Jordan Matthews in the back of the endzone, and after a Soul Field Goal, Bortles only needed one play on the next drive where he hit Russell Shepard for a 79 yard Touchdown pass.  With the game now 31-13 going into the 4th, Soul Head Coach opened up the playbook and it nearly brought his team all the way back.  Wendell Smallwood first scored on a 7 year trot, before backfield mate Carlos Hyde hit a 58 yard homerun on the next drive to make the game 31-28.  But just like he had the whole game, Bortles came up huge once again with a game sealing 39 yard Touchdown pass to Jordan Reed.  The Soul didn't give up and added another Smallwood rushing touchdown but would fall short on the scoreboard, 38-35.

I thought about that and really liked the name since it has a decent connection to the NBA’s Denver Nuggets who I’d likely use the owner of for this league but the logo for the Dynamite is so dated that I just don’t see myself being able to pull the trigger on that one.

I also thought about using the Crush. I’m not high on the logo though, and I wouldn’t be using the state name so they would have to go by the Denver Crush. I haven’t ruled that out yet. Any other already existing logos that any of you think would go well with a team from Denver?

I’m also currently leaning towards the Dorados as it’s unique but I’ll see if any more votes come in while I simulate the 2021 XFL playoffs.
