James Ward, at a press conference, has officially confirmed that the Seawolves' minor league affiliate will be the Spokane Warriors, with logos and uniforms to be unveiled at a later date.
"Spokane is a great market for our AAA farm team--it's in close proximity to Seattle, and with the Spokane Chiefs currently playing in the WHL, there is certainly interest for hockey in the area."
The team name comes from the other minor league team in the area, Minor League Baseball's Spokane Indians.
The AA team for the Seawolves was unveiled as well, to be called the Abbotsford Hounds, and based in Abbotsford, British Columbia, with logos and uniforms also to be unveiled at a later date.
(If Abbotsford encroaches on other's territory, please let me know and I can move it.)

Presenting The Capital: the Washington Blossoms. This is where our players will grow into fully-fledged major leaguers, finessing their game to the point of perfection. Wearing the vibrant colors of a cherry blossom befitting a vibrant and diverse city like Washington, players will be proud to don the blossom pink and Arizona teal that only a city like this could support.
White never appears on the jerseys, instead replaced by a light shade of pink that will ensure that players always have their team in mind: the pink of cherry blossoms that never fully disappears, even after they fall down every spring. This keeps the players' memories of their time with the Blossoms in mind, even when they've moved up to the Bighorns. Despite the incredibly unique color scheme, the home, away, and alt all utilize traditional striping to evoke a nostalgic feel, even if players and fans weren't alive for the birth of hockey and its design traditions. However, the Arizona teal alt throws that out the window for a completely modern, minimalistic, and aesthetic jersey that emphasizes the branch that a cherry blossom bursts from. That branch acts as hem striping, pant striping, sock striping, and helmet striping, while pink takes a backseat role, only appearing on the blossoms, wordmark, laces, and sleeve "stripe" that reads "cherry blossom" in Japanese. QCS Arena will be the home of the Blossoms as they fight for DC and its pride. It's a brand-new, state-of-the-art arena with a massive scoreboard and up-close, intimate viewing for fans as they cheer for the Blossoms.
COMING SOON - THE GATE. GREENSBORO CIVICS.

I love everything about the Blossoms look. Only thing I think is a miss is the wording on the chest of the alt 2 being really thin and so I don't think it stands out as well.

With Seattle's press conference the map and the map with triangles are complete.
Vancouver now engulfs both Minnesota and Seattle's triangles.
The Seawolves barely miss the arbitrary "local" designation with a perimeter of 573 miles. The Kingfishers were even closer to being arbitrarily "local" with a perimeter of 525 miles. Seattle has an equilinearity of 9.41%, on the upper end.

Yeah, I can see that. I removed the "washington" part of the wordmark so I could increase the size of the "blossoms" and I also increased the size of the nameplate.

CHICAGO, Ill.-- The Chicago Ghosts, with the aid of both Indianapolis and Daytona, revealed the updated identities of both the AAA and AA affiliates of the franchise on Thursday.
The Indianapolis SuperChargers went back to the basics of their original identity from decades prior while tossing in the #IgniteNight set for this upcoming season. The iconic circle center star logo is still active in the brand with fans using it as merit badges, given out at every #IgniteNight game.
Many fans use these stitched merit badges to cover their hats, shirts, and jackets at games given out at specific events throughout the SuperChargers' season. The current record of merit badges is held by "SUPER Fan" Luanne, a 73-year-old native of Indianapolis with over 200 badges throughout her attendance.
The Daytona Wraiths unveiled its first-ever look at the site of its new arena. The logo (a wraith with checkered flags crossing) comes with two, home-and-away navy and red sets with the alternate "Ectoplasm" this jersey to be worn at specific games throughout the season.
Indianapolis has been an affiliate with the Ghosts since the franchise's inception while this fall will be inagural season for the Daytona Wraiths.

I like Indy's look, and Daytona's home and away set look great, but I'm really not feeling the Ectoplasm set. Maybe if there was some striping or the green was the accent color? It's just too bright to be the whole set imo.

There's a chance some navy checkerboard will be added to it in the future. But for now it'll stand. Thanks for your feedback.

I don't have time to make this into a press release, so here are the sets for Harrisburg and Trenton. Big thanks to Steelman for getting these done so quickly and so so well.

Since the beginning of this project people have been clamoring over the prospect of AltHL outdoor games! Following the building of arenas and development of our farm teams we are going to come back together to design our 3 outdoor events. I am going to go through the rules/guidelines, the events, and the timeline. So here we go!
Guidelines
1. The venues that we use will not be ones that the NHL has previously used. For example, Fenway Park = NO.
2. Heat is not an issue. We have the best ice crews in the world and they are ready for this.
3. The maps below map out our teams' geographic regions. Like the NHL you can only host an event within your region. For example, we don't want Portland hosting a game at Yankee Stadium. If your region is a tad smaller - unfortunately it comes with the team that you chose. Shout out to JamHeronArk for throwing that together for us. Some of the little pockets of 'fandom' is due to that team's minor league presence in the area.
4. A team can't host multiple games - if they were lucky enough to get selected for both they will only end up with one.
5. Once a team participates in an outdoor game they can't participate in another one until everyone has had a chance (avoid Blackhawks and Penguins fatigue situation).
6. Participating owners will get to design their own uniforms - more on this in a bit.
7. The games will take place whenever those two teams meet in the regular season.
The Events
Event #1 - Our Winter Classic
The Winter Classic is the more traditional event. It pays homage to the time when players started to play hockey - on the frozen ponds and whatnot. Like the Winter Classic the teams will wear fauxback sweaters. This event will take place in a traditional venue. Traditional venue meaning a stadium outside. For example, Philly Founders at Beaver Stadium at Penn State. A place that we can legitimately see the NHL doing.
Event #2 - Our Stadium Series
The Stadium Series is typically the more modern event. The uniforms will be modern, flashy and cutting edge. This event will take place in a nontraditional venue. This takes some more creativity. It also needs to be slightly realistically. For example, the Gargoyles can't host a game on the top of the Empire State Building (can't fit a rink or people up there) but they could host a game in Central Park.
Event #3 - Our Global Series
This event can take place anywhere in the world. For example, Racers v. Ghosts at the Coliseum in Rome. For this event, the 'geographic' region of your team does not matter. The uniforms should probably reflect the culture of the country that they are in.
The Timeline
Step 1 - Naming the Events
Starting NOW! We are going to accept nominations for each of our three events. I will send out the poll on Sunday night.
Step 2 - Accepting Bids
Each team will be allowed to submit 2 bids. This is to ensure that we don't have 18 nominations for each event. You can if you wish to nominate another team besides your own to host a game. This will not count against that teams 2 bids. You will be bidding for only your team and venue NOT the opponent. We will then send out a poll to figure out our three host cities.
Step 3 - The Opponents
Those winners will then reach out to a team to be their opponent. We do it this way to give the option to say YES or NO to the participating. Since that team won't be able to be in a game for a little while they can choose to say NO and try next year to host an event.
Step 4 - The Game Logos
We will host another logo competition. The logos will not be based off of the two participating teams but rather feature the city or venue. Check out Winter Classic logos for examples. This differs from All Star Game and Draft logos.
Step 5 - Game Sweaters
The owners can design their own uniforms. Once everything is finished we can have fun doing promotional materials and whatnot.
I will explain each step again as we get to that point. FOR NOW WE NEED TO NAME THE THREE EVENTS.
