Welcome one and all to the second annual AltBA Rookie Draft. As a reminder, this is a one round draft. You may only pick players that have the green rookie designation in Fantrax. Any player you pick will carry a value of $2 for the 2027-28 season, and will cost nothing towards your 2026-27 budget.

As with last year, owners have 24 hours to make their pick, and in the situation where someone misses that timeframe, we will move on when I announce that the team has been skipped. The lottery didn't shake up too much at the top of the draft, the order is as follows:

2. Charlotte Flyers
3. San Jose Cyborgs
4. New York Sentinels
5. Boston Schooners
6. Vancouver Caribou
7. Honolulu Kahunas
8. Philadelphia Gladiators
9. Kansas City Marshals
10. Detroit Mustangs
11. Boston Schooners (from Albuquerque Invaders)
12. Los Angeles Olympians
