Week #1 is here! The Fleurs are back again against their French compatriots.

Welcome to the AltCAA Nashville Tech! The Blue Jays kick off their first season at the top level of the AltCAA this week with a conference matchup on the road against UF Orlando's Aliens. The Jays are going to feature our running back transfer from Chicago Tech, DeSean Bishop! Number 18 will be out there in the navy helmet, white jersey, and navy pants for this historic game. #NashTech

We kick off another season of Hawks football as Hawaii State looks to defend their SuperWest Championship from last season. They start with a non-conference matchup in Canada, as we head to Riel to take on the Rebels. Week 2 - Buffalo State Stampede (0-1) vs Nashville Tech Blue Jays (0-1)
Buffalo State starts there season with a loss on the road. Some are saying it is because both teams decided to wear white causing confusion amongst the Stampede bench. The Stampede will look to rebound at home against division foe and newcomers the Nashville Tech Blue Jays.

Following a tough conference loss to the Aliens, Nashville Tech now heads out on the road again to take on Buffalo State. With the Stampede at home in blue, we'll be in the light blue helmet, white jersey, and navy pants. Featured for the Blue Jays is quarterback Caden Creel, who supplanted last season's starter Micah Alejandro, and threw for 327 yards, 5 touchdowns, and added another 54 on the ground. #NashTech

A loss on the road to Riel wasn't how we wanted to start the season, but at least it was non-conference so we're no farther back in the SuperWest. This week we open our conference slate with another road game as we head to Bend, Oregon to take on Deschutes. The Pronghorns dropped their opener to conference newcomer Lake Country Tech, and both the Pronghorns and the Hawks will be looking for their first conference win on the season and we'll be in the standard white helmets, white jerseys, and white pants. It was no question as to who would be featured for us this week, as wide receiver KJ Duff was unstoppable against the Rebel defense, hauling in 9 receptions for 196 yards and 3 touchdowns! #BeachBirds #TikiManIsEternal

We opened the year with a convincing win on the road against the Muskrats to open our conference play, but we'll take a brief pause on playing conference opponents to welcome Twin Cities to Durango. The Lakers could not hold oin against in-state rival Minnesota A&M, so they're arriving hungry for that first win on the year. Featured for us this week is sophomore QB Kamario Taylor, who made a statement after he was named the starter for week 1, torching Ohio A&M's defense for 354 yards and 4 TD's through the air and added another 59 yards and a TD on the ground. We'll be wearing our new home set to open up Thag Simmons Memorial Stadium for the year of green helmets and jerseys and white pants.

It looked for a bit like Buffalo State was going to pull off the upset, but Johns Island came through and snagged a win to open the year. That's especially good, as it gives us some momentum heading into the Holy War. The Navs, meanwhile, are fresh off a tight loss against Hershey and will need to turn their momentum around. We head up to Boston for this edition, which means we need to break out our green jerseys a bit earlier than we otherwise would, and on the back of the one you see below is RB Nate Sheppard's name. The sophomore from Louisiana was nigh unstoppable last week, rumbling for 227 yards on the ground and finding the end zone twice against the Stamps defense. #ForTheIsland #HolyWar
