With the conclusion of the Interest Sheet timeframe, we will be dropping two teams as the Indiana Cardinals have elected to fold, so the league-owned Baltimore Lancers will also fold.
Now the remaining 12 teams will compete over the 19 week regular season. The top 6 teams will qualify for the playoffs, with the 1 and 2 seeds getting byes, the 3 seed hosting the 6 seed, and the 4 seed hosting the 5 seed. After the first round, we will reseed, so the top seed will face the lowest seeded first round winner, with the second seed facing the highest seeded first round winner.

And now, we get into the new stuff. Firstly, the 2026 AltBA Rookie Draft will start 9/14/2026. As with last year, there will be a lottery for the top 4 picks for those teams that missed the playoffs. I will do this on a Voice Call in the Discord server. The teams eligible for that top pick are: Boston Schooners, Charlotte Flyers, Minnesota Giants, New York Sentinels, and San Jose Cyborgs, with the sixth qualifying team having folded. Picks 6 through 12 are as follows:
