This may be my first time posting in this thread, but I am happy my New York Chargers won! Maybe if this underdog story continues, they can win the NDL Finals for their late owners and make that the defining moment that saves them from relocation.

I also apologize if this has already been brought up, but what are NDL TV contracts like? Anyway, keep up the good work, idm!

I'm always excited for more NDL content, especially when I get to see my favorite team, the Orlando Orbits, pick up a first round win.

Oh, yeah, Boston fans weren't happy, and there were certainly a few of them lighting up police cars after Game 7, but I certainly don't think it would get to a Vancouver level of bad. There are a few reasons for that: for one, the prevailing wisdom as it were is that neither the Commodores nor the Chargers really represented their record. New York was definitely much better than .500, especially once the playoffs came around, and I think most 'Dores fans knew that Boston's single-digit losses may have been a fluke and probably wouldn't hold up against a team with more playoff experience. (As a parallel: when the Red Sox went on their tear this summer, the most common feeling among fans around here was not hell yeah, we're gonna win a World Series, it was wait, how are we so good all of a sudden?) For another, they were on track to come back from down 3-1, and the biggest reason they didn't was because their players got in a brawl and their team was left shorthanded at an important position, which is a lot different from them blowing it because you sucked. That said, it's Boston, where anything less than a title is a disappointment, and losing to New York is only gonna amplify that.
