AtlLiga Season 2026-27
Welcome to the 2026-27 AltLiga Season. Time to find out who is returning for the upcoming season and attempt to claim the title from 1. VfV 1158 Munich.
We have one additional question on the form, related to positional eligibility. At current, players are locked into the Fantrax default position, determined by their provider, they start the season at. The proposed change would allow multiple positions, with players qualifying at the Fantrax default position and a position they played in 4 games the previous season or 2 games in the current season.

And that is now official, everyone is returning except CF Federal. As such, the league will step in and be running Athinaikos AO. This will ensure that the league owned team run by myself and Sky will have the minimal games with the league owned team, as Athinaikos will be in the European side instead of the World side of the GEO Cup, moving Inter Istanbul with its unique straddle of Europe and Asia moving to the World.

Now, here's your keeper sheet for the AltLiga for the upcoming season. As always, you get to keep 5 players with no restrictions, and then 2 players that only get kept for one year, and no one can keep them for 2027-28. Also keep in mind that any players you had on the three relegated teams (Burnley, West Ham United, and Wolverhampton) can be kept, but they won't be very useful unless they move to a Premier League team or you keep them in the case they will move in the future.

Okay, so the schedule is released in Fantrax. The GEO Cup will be starting game 14 and going through game 21. This will also coincide with the Global Series once again pitting the European teams against the World teams. The Global Series matchups are as follows:
Global Series Game 1 : Mexico City, Mexico - 1. VfV 1158 Munich vs Inter Istanbul
Global Series Game 2 : Beijing, China - Atlético Barcelona vs Joburg City 94
Global Series Game 3 : Lagos, Nigeria - Athinaikos AO vs Club de Ragatas do Independencia
Global Series Game 4 : Santiago, Chile - Amsterdam KVV vs Eye of the Sun FC
Global Series Game 5 : Buenos Aires, Argentina - FC Alfa Roma vs Bukchon Hanok Stripes
Global Series Game 6 : Rio de Janeiro, Brazil - Olympique de Bastille vs FC Tokyo Sakura
Global Series Game 7 : Casablanca, Morocco - IFK Stockholm vs Sydney Harbour FC
Whichever of the European and World teams wins the majority of the Global Series will give their representative the home field advantage in the GEO Cup Finals.
