    This is a post made on behalf of the league-owned Miami Hammerheads. The league would like the Hammerheads to have a starting QB this coming fall. As such, their 2026 1st Round Rookie Pick, the 24th overall, is being made available specifically for a straight trade of that starting QB for the pick.

    For full transparency, the New York Emperors will be making an offer, but the league would prefer not to trade with one of the Council's teams.

    The league-owned Miami Hammerheads considered four offers for the 24th pick in the draft:
    Jordan Love (QB - GB) at $19 from the Seattle Steelheads
    Kyler Murray (QB - Min) at $14 from the Dallas Bandits
    Michael Penix Jr. (QB - Atl) at $5 from the New York Emperors
    Shedeur Sanders (QB - Cle) at $1 from the New York Emperors

    At the end of the day, the council determined that the safest and surest bet was Jordan Love.

    Miami receives:
    Jordan Love (QB - GB)

    Seattle receives:
    MIA 2026 1st Round Rookie Pick (#24)
