The AltFL Season 2026
Welcome to season 7 of the AltFL! Over the course of the next week, we'll be determining who is returning for the upcoming season. Obviously we have time until the season starts, but the process starts now so the Rookie Draft can take place at the beginning of July as normal.
We will be accepting applications for new members of the league as well, with the Toronto Beavers and Miami Hammerheads unowned, they can be claimed. However, if the league drops to 20 or fewer owners, the league will not grow beyond that again. This will be standard for all leagues except AltCAA to work to maintain a player pool for existing owners.
To build upon that, please ensure that if you join the league you will make every effort to login and maintain your team, setting your lineups and make your best effort to replace injured players with healthy players. The goal of every league in the AltSports is to have competition from top to bottom. It's understandable that some teams will be better than others, but no one wants their playoff hopes riding on a team with a manager who hasn't signed into Fantrax for months to pull off an upset.

The due date to fill this out will be Tuesday, June 30th at 11:59pm Central Time. This will allow me to finalize the draft order and prepare for the Rookie Draft starting on Friday, July 3rd.

Alright, we got a response from 21 of last season's 22 teams, and we'll move forward with those teams. We had one new member provide interest, so please welcome 716Sports to the league. They will be assuming ownership of the Toronto Beavers, and will assume the roster and draft position of the team that was dropped. Conveniently, the team that will be leaving will be the Philadelphia Brawlers, so the Beavers will slot into the East Division seamlessly.
As such, the Rookie Draft will be starting on Friday morning on a brand new thread. The order for that draft is as follows, showing all currently known trades. If you have a trade that you're not seeing on here, please let me know by 11:00 pm Central time on 7/2/26:
