With the elimination games yesterday, we say goodbye to St. Brendan's, who was trounced by Chicago Tech 12-0, and UF-Orlando, who was edged by Minnesota A&M 2-0.
We now head to the next round where Hawaii State will face Chicago Tech and Johns Island will take on Minnesota A&M. Hawaii State and Johns Island haven't lost in this double elimination tournament, so will need to lose to Chicago Tech and Minnesota A&M twice while only needing to win once. However, that does mean there is a chance for an all Southern V final if Johns Island and Chicago Tech both win.

And both the undefeated teams advanced, so we have a couple days off before the best of three finals start on Saturday between second seeded Johns Island (Oklahoma) and fifth seeded Hawaii State (North Carolina). Will the baseball championship head to the Atlantic coast, or will it head to the middle of the Pacific?
