No, it's just that I got bugged down by trying to come up with the history of the OEHL to answer your question from before the hiatus and then Corel Vector (or Gravit) got shut down, so my logo and jersey files aren't as easy to navigate anymore since theyre not in the cloud anymore, and all of that compounded into me not being really interested in the ECHO as much so i stopped working on it but i'm back now.
Speaking of the OEHL history, I'll wait until it gets relevant enough to the story of the ECHO to post about it

1959 ECHO Draft Preview
As the 1959 ECHO Draft approaches, scouts around the league are praising the class for its remarkable depth, physicality, and unpredictability. Goaltender André Villeneuve headlines the group as the likely first overall selection thanks to his calm, technically refined game, while centers Edward Zimmermann, Denis Richard, and Jonathan Stewart each bring vastly different styles ranging from elite playmaking to rugged scoring ability. Winger Jacques-Édouard Darrieussecq has become one of the draft’s most talked-about prospects due to his blistering shot and bruising physical play, while Aaron Burden’s pure offensive instincts make him one of the class’s most dangerous scorers despite concerns about his defensive effort. On the blue line, few players have generated more attention than the feared Nicholas Constantineau, whose punishing physicality has already made him infamous in junior circles, while Vernon Telford, Benoît Deschamps, Conrad LeBlanc, and Abraham Feuerstein provide a strong crop of shutdown defenders. Further down the board, creative winger Hubert Arseneault, rugged defender Bradley Turlington, flashy winger Tommy Hearn, reliable center Maurice Leclerc, and inconsistent but highly entertaining goaltender Jack Hamill are included in a draft class where many expect valuable talent to remain available deep into the draft.

I wouldn't bet against an elite prospect like Aaron Burden.

Can't wait for the drafts to come!
Also, Jacques-Édouard Darrieussecq? That's one of the most Quebecois name I've seen on this thread. I'd be a bit disappointed if that last name is just made up.
Then again, the player names I've submitted aren't exactly ordinary even in the late 50s/early 60s.

No relation. Most likely a coincidence. I can't say for sure, though. Just an educated guess.
