We held off a pesky Colts team to notch win number five on the season, and now we head to the Pacific Northwest to play the Samurai in Seattle. Team Owner Dan O'Mac, after owning the AltBA Seattle Emeralds, is familiar with the city, and is hoping that can lead to a win this week. We're in the standard road uniforms for this one, with the standard cap, navy jersey, and gray pants. Our hot start continues, soundly defeating the Pandas and remaining as the team to beat in the AltLB. After hopping around home and away the first few weeks, we actually stay at home to welcome the playoff-seeking Minnesota Gemini to Gila River Field. They're just outside of the hunt, with the resurgent Milwaukee and Detroit squads standing in their way at the moment. We want to give the home crowd a good show, and we'll be relying on SP Jesus Luzardo, who made two impressive showings against San Diego, throwing 13.1 innings for 18 strikeouts and got 2 quality starts and 2 wins to put us over the top. #RideTheLightning

The Atoms earned a comfortable win over the Turtles to keep things rolling as we head into perhaps our biggest game of the year so far. We head up to New York for a road matchup against the Blackbirds, who are coming off their first loss of the season. That puts the two of us and Montréal into a three-way tie atop the National League, meaning the league lead is potentially on the line here. For the second straight week, we're spotlighting a mustachioed pitcher, as SP Dylan Cease sparkled against Tampa Bay to the tune of 7 scoreless innings with 10 strikeouts, earning him the quality start and the win. #UpAndAtom

A close win over the Griffins puts us at 7-1 and back in OKC. I'd like to say we'll be welcoming the Blackbirds to Cox Ballpark, but we're still a little traumatized by Baseball Stickman's last visit. Instead, we'll put on the standard home creams, grab a Sonic chili dog and a slush, and hope to pay attention to what's going on on the field. We're dealing with some injuries to the pitching staff still, so we're featuring callup Trevor McDonald who took care of business filling in with 12 innings pitched, gathering 9 strikeouts, allowing only 4 runs, and notching a win and a quality start. #WeAreOK

The Cubans gave us a good challenge, but we managed to pull away late in the week to remain undefeated on the year. We stay on the road to take on an unexpected challenger in the AL, the expansion side of the Milwaukee Muskies. They've gotten off to a hot start in their first year back, just a game back on us and could take a part of the AL lead with a win over us this week.
