The Atoms pulled off a close win against Minnesota to improve to 3-0 on the year. Next up is yet another interleague matchup here in Vegas, as we welcome the Atlanta Firebirds to the Strip. Atlanta has yet to pick up a win in their return to AltLB play, but they did get close against New York last week, so they'll be extra motivated to finish the job. Unfortunately for them, they'll have to contend with Tarik Skubal, who pitched 11 1/3 innings, striking out 14 and allowing 5 earned runs, somehow earning a win and a loss, as well as a quality start. He'll also be helping us break out a brand-new uniform combination, as we're going all-black for the first time in our history. #UpAndAtom

We showed those other birds who's the boss, amassing another dominant win to remain undefeated on the year. Speaking of undefeated, we welcome another team who has yet to lose a gain, the Chicago Pros, to Gila River Field for the battle of the unbeatens. The Pros are off to the best start since 2023, where they started 4-0 before only winning one other game the rest of the season after they lost to us. So they're out for revenge to match their best start in the AltLB while we're trying to keep up our beginning-of-season form. Featured for us this week is OF James Wood, who hit 12/22 for 3 homers, 8 RBI's, and also stole two bases against the other bird team. #RidetheLightning

It's time for the International Series announcement! This is where we would've been voting for this, but we had only one submission, so congrats to idm for creating the International Series 2026 logo!

We were able to pull away late and notched the win against the Condors to move to 3-1 on the season. Next on the schedule is a trip to Canada to take on Toronto. The Talons haven't played as well as they look now, but we clearly can't overlook any team in the league. We'll be in the alternate orange set up this week with the second cap and the gray pants, breaking out the orange set for the first time. Our featured player is pitcher Ryan Weathers, who went 12.1 innings, striking out 18, allowing 5 earned runs, leading to a win and a loss (I don't understand it either) and a quality start. #WeAreOK

The Firebirds hung around, but the Atoms pulled away late to clinch our fourth straight win to open the year. Our next game will be a tougher test and also a World Series rematch from a few years back as we head to Detroit to face the Deacons. We'll hope that OF Ian Happ can continue his hot start to the season after we acquired him from Arizona in the offseason. Happ went 8-23 with 2 HR and 4 RBI against Atlanta, and he and the rest of the team will be wearing the gray uniforms for a big matchup. #UpAndAtom

We put up another dominant showing against the formerly-undefeated Pros, and we now stand firmly on top of the AL for the time being. Unfortunately, we have to hit the road to play another unbeaten team, the surging Montreal Saints. They have slowly been building up a team to take them to the World Series, and through the first few weeks its certainly looked like they're destined to head there. We're still looking to keep up with our incredible pace, and we're relying on the arm of SP George Kirby, who threw 13.1 innings last week for 11 total K's, two wins and a quality start against Chicago last week. #RidetheLightning

In sort of the opposite of how things have been going for the Atoms, our matchup with the Deacons was close until midway through the game before Detroit pulled away thanks to their bullpen significantly outperforming ours. We did get a big performance from OF Michael Harris II, who went 9-23 with 2 homers and 9 RBI, as he's gotten off to a strong start in his first full season in Las Vegas. Speaking of, we head back home to the Strip for a matchup against the Pros. Chicago got off to a blazing-fast start before a big loss to Arizona and a nailbiting defeat against rival Milwaukee have them on a mini losing streak. Both teams will be looking to bounce back, but only one can. #UpAndAtom

We didn't have the best game in Toronto. I'm sure it was due to conversion rate... yeah, that's what we'll go with. On the bright side we head back to Oklahoma City and host the Colts this time out. We'll be in the standard cream uniforms for this one, and, as always when we welcome the Colts, we're doing Local Theater Appreciation Night, where proceeds will go to local theater groups, and you'll find some of those companies doing "mini-performances" on the concourse throughout the Ballpark. Our featured player has done nothing but hit since his call up last season, as Daylen Lile has been on a hot streak of late. #WeAreOK

We held off a late-charging Saints team to remain undefeated on the year in a high-scoring thriller. We thankfully get to return home to play another NL team in search of a playoff bid, the San Diego Pandas. They're right in the middle of their league's standings, and a win over the best team in the league could give them the boost they need. We're still trying to keep up our pace while we can, and we'll need the help of featured player and offseason acquisition OF/DH Seiya Suzuki. Suzuki mashed last week, hitting 10/25 for 4 homers, 6 RBI's, and drew three walks against Montreal. #RideTheLightning
