I like the brand, the interlocking logo is my favourite for sure, even if the graphic around it made me think I was illiterate at first. I like the script, the only thing that bugs me is the transition from the letter into the stinger on the S, you can tell where the angle of the circle changes, I think that could be cleaned up just a smidge by smoothing it out and yea it looks great. The colours are also a very nice choice.

Alright, I've been working on this for quite some time, and it's time. I've always been a bit "meh" to "that's terrible" when looking at the Hawks logo. I found it flat and not fitting the image of the school I had in my mind. So I wanted to change it to fit that image in my mind. I started with the logo and getting rid of black and putting the focus on the red, white, and yellow. The Hawk was chosen in the first place because it was one of only two species of native birds of prey in Hawaii, but I wanted to bring in more elements of Hawaii, so the whole logo is in the shape of a wave and a palm tree is merged into the logo as well. The red and yellow remain, using the official colors of Hawaii and Oahu respectively, with the red gaining a touch of vibrancy and the yellow being shifted to a bolder shade.

The wordmarks ditch the full script, but maintains some script elements. "Hawaii" and "Hawks" are now in a standard, rounded font with some subtle wave elements within it, and a new script being used for "State". Again, black is dropped as the branding shifts away from black.

As for the football jerseys, there's not a lot of change. Starting with the main and secondary jersey, the helmet is remains white white, and, obviously, gets the new logo on it and maintains the outline of Hawaii on the back. The main jersey is white with a red collar and sleeve hems. Red numbers and name on the back, with a yellow outline on the number. The sleeves see the retention of the asymmetrical striping in a red/yellow/red, dropping the black. The secondary jersey is still red, but with white numbers outlined in yellow and a yellow name on the back. The sleeve caps on the red jersey remain white, preserving the standard red/yellow/red striping. Both jerseys are paired with white pants with the asymmetric striping on the side.

The alternate is now a true BFBS jersey, maintaining the "After Dark" look for our night time home games that start at 7pm here, but midnight on the east coast. The helmet features only the hawk's head on a matte black helmet, with the jersey and pants swapping white for black. The only other difference is that the name on the back goes from red to yellow on the After Dark set.
